I thought Ghana, not Senegal, is West Africa's most stable democracy? 😮
I wish people would inform themselves before they judge something over as little information as provided here. This is just news and not real journalism that provides a real deeper insight. If you want to know why germany has shut down its nuclear plants, besides what most here already assume, google what the new ernegy strategy actually is! And why new energy storage units as well as powerlines required by renewable sources will not work well with the way nuclear power plants produce. Gas is not clean, but this way we can assure energy production even in times when the sun or wind production is not possible. There are always good reasons for both nuclear energy and against but you guys are not just so much smarter than goverments, inform yourselves at least more than over a quick youtube news outlet before you speak.
Africa's most stable democracy???…is Zambia a joke to you?
Ghana is West Africa’s most stable democracy since 1992
Afric: Hipiti Hopty Crisis is my property
I'm sorry, but why the hell do African heads of state even have the power to just delay elections or suspend their Constitution whenever they feel like it?
”Most stable African democracy” doesn’t say alot…
Woooh I love ecosia
Ben's diction is music to my ears
Nuclear energy is the most clean energy that we can produce I hate the uneducated that think that Nuclear waste is just “green sludge”
No not Senegal, they're my favorite African country.
It makes me sad to see this
African nations not become a dictatorship challenge (impossible)
these "democracies were governed by French puppets"
Soon the Coup-Wall will span from the Atlantic to the Red Sea.
Greenpeace may do advocacy but is horrible in the way they collect money and are horrible at actually showing what they do with the money! Just warning
How is Gas more climate friendly than Nuclear? It's literally a carbon generator.
Claiming a gas plant is climate friendly because it can burn green hydrogen is insane. Burning green hydrogen is one of the most wasteful and costly sources of power imaginable. Green hydrogen won’t be available at scale for at least decade; and if it’s affordable then, burning it would never be as massively wasteful compared to using fuel cells.
TLDR has become my primary source of news, I love what you are doing. Last year I purchased the physical newspaper, if you allow me one piece of feedback; It would have been awesome the get some TLDR stickers along with it, I love having stickers of things I support on the back of my laptop, it helps to bring free advertising to the cause when I am working in public spaces.
The sheer retardation and stupidity of the German government when it comes to their energy production is almost impressive. How almost all of their politicians have kindergarten understanding of how nuclear power works is beyond me.
Isn't Nuclear Power one of the most Clean sources of power out there?
16 billions to build use old methods use oil nothing changed
ecosia may be slightly worse than google, but it's barely noticeable and the conversion is very easy and worth it !
4:04 ignoring that nuclear power is safe, cheap and clen
Using the word "Coup" on your thumbnail image borders on clickbait and you need to be careful of this as viewers will lose confidence in your impartiality.
Senegal L
sigh… freaking Germany…
We have some more news from Chile
the term natural gas is such a pr term. methane gas isnt natural or green at all
Whats the bet Russia's behind all the coups to cause a migrant crisis into europe
Why on earth would you burn hydrogen in a gas power plant at 50% efficiency when you could get 90% with fuel cells. Madness.
Hope Germany sends America the bill for their new plants considered what mysteriously happened to their pipeline
maybe king charles will abdicate
Why do you people call them 'fossil fuels'? That is an inaccurate term. They are hydrocarbons, natural gas and oil doesn't come from dinosaurs
I wish Charles well. Nobody deserves the terrible fate of cancer
Germany politics are beyond stupid
Greenpeace really thinks electricity can just magically be made. They have themselves to thank for shutting down the nuclear power plants cause they're so unintelligent and uneducated that they seriously think that nuclear power is the most dangerous way of making electricity. Absolutely useless group.
No doubt the king is wholly positive about his recovery. They have cures for that shit, it's only us mere mortals who suffer through it.
Of course cancer is absolutely horrible, he'll probably go through a lot of pain though he'll get over it really quick
When you can't run again, just extend your tenure😂
Ecosia rocks!
And Senegal joins the "coup of the month club", there won't be a functional democracy left in Africa within the next 5 years.
Maybe if Germany kept those nuclear plants….
