Root cause of the problem is bigoted Islamist mindset of Pakistan which believes that simply because there is a muslim majority region in India,it should belong to it. What you foreign folk need to understand that even Christian women in India wear the Sindoor / Vermillion in their hair parting and the Mangalsutra in their neck to signify that they are married esp. in North India.
