  1. This guy spoke NONSENSE
LOADSHEDDING can be done in the system to prevent demand supply imbalance and grid collapse .
We have poorlyly trained people invited to speak on technical issues
They end up feeding Nigerians 🇳🇬 wrong information
Invite knowledgeable people home or abroad to analyse and find SOLUTIONS

  2. We the citizens have successfully done way with the government in
Éducation = private schools and universities
    Water= boreholes
Health = private hospitals and medical tourism
Security = private security companies and yan banga

We need to find to find a way to circumvent government in power and roads. The cost and technology of inverter/solar has been slow. Nigerian bussiness men need to work with China to get better technology at affordable rates. The road issue also has no clear solution.

Time will fix this. We can no longer depend on our government for anything at all. Most of the services they provide, which we pay for are not working

  3. The problem is the distribution companies. We have to get rid of discos. They are the problem, but as usual politics because the owners are the elite former governors.

  4. The same story over 50 years and someone who hasn't seen or experienced 24/7 electricity for 1 year will be arguing based on mediocrity. 1 year into this govt they haven't even talked about how to solve the electricity and security problem.

  5. You cannot produce 5 000mw for a country the size of Nigeria and expect miracles. South Africa with a quarter of the population of Nigeria produces 60 000mw and that is not enough… they have regular load shedding.
The difference is that they are continuously adding to their electrical grid and they are currently unlocking an additional 2,335MW of energy in the short term and 40 000mw over the next 10 years

  6. As an engineer, tell that man what the nation needs is create more networks so power comes from different sources or each state manage their power. Secondly to create more alternative energy source like wind, solar and water. This electricity should not be a problem. The problem is they are there desolving money.

  7. 1. We don't have a system, that is why the system collapses.
    2. How many consumers of power are using grid connected power. 99% of big consumers are producing their power. E.g The telecommunications, manufacturing companies. So there is no incentive to actually generate power and dispatch it centrally resulting none profitability the system. It's only few commercial and households consumers that are patronising the system, and how much is the system making after Technical and commercial losses?

    3. Another reason why the system is working is the Nigerian factor_ that's why the electricity law was amended to give way for regional off grid system like the ABA geometric, which is a distruption. How can State government generate and distribute power in their states? They can only do that in rural electrification!! The law was amended deliberately to allow for sherry picking of customers, which is not in the best interest of the country as a whole. that was main reason why the 2005 electricity law Made it mandatory to centrally dispatch any generation above 1Gw or is it 5MG,
    5. Which serious country will allow its electricity sector be decentralised as was done in the current electricity law?
    5. The decentralisation was innocently started by the 1999 Lagos State government by contracting ENRON to provide power to Lagos State, thinking that Lagos is a or want to be come a sovereign country.

unfortunately, all the financiers for ENRON project requested for FGN guarantee, because Lagos State was not a sovereign country and cannot guarantee sovereign debt. And that time everyone knows the relationship between Lagos State and Federal Government. The rest is now history. And from that time big people started efforts to dismantle the power sector against all expert advice. The end result is what we have now.
    God help us.

  8. We have a problem we want the whole Nigeria to grow at the same peck, we ended up with none developed. By 2032 , all the trucks in America will be powered by electricity. By 2026 to 2028, all the cars will be powered by electric and hydrogen. We are still talking about politics of hates and tribalism. The earth is not waiting for us. The way slave trade faded when machinery came into existence, that's how your oil and games have gone. We have one national grid , how many percent of energy are we losing on transmission. We must start to rebalance the structure but have in mind the children born in the eastern side of the country ( the Biafra ) can never forgive the Nigeria states for all the atrocities perfected against them. The free food is over, leaving a very big burden of debt 97.e4 left for us. No development , no industries for the masses. What is coming to Nigeria is seriously fearful. From the current prophet of Umuezumezu
