No lie, na true talk, I like the will Smith one the most. It's very interesting and touching when I see people who love and imitate Nigerians, their food e.t.c I love seeing people who are no Nigerians or from Africa but they speak our accent or language and they speak it fluently. It shows that racism is reducing and we are accepting each other no matter who we are, it's touching.
Another important point is that Nigeria was colonized by the British so we speak what we call the queen’s English, that makes us to pronounce the letter ‘t’ in words. We don’t call water warrer like the Americans do. There is no point trying to imitate how our host countries pronounce things. We should be proud of ourselves. Interestingly, the people we try desperately to imitate like our ways of doing things more than we can imagine. I live in America and I know the kind of compliment I get whenever I wear our fabrics. They also love our food. I have an American friend who would put ẹba side by side with rice and eat with his fingers 🤣.
I’m a major in the US Army served since 2010 and I turned 34 in July, I don’t consider myself funny but my accent makes my peers and soldiers thinks I’m funny. Everyone looks forward to seeing me talk either during meetings, formations or safety briefings. They mimic and laugh when I give the command “Battalion Attention” 😂😂😂 I started by copying my uncle’s accent who served in the Nigerian Army “Attttenntion, atease ”, but it cracks them up every time I say it like that, and then I adopted it. Now everyone loves to hear say that in the most Nigerian accent ever 😅
This country called Nigeria is so special. our haters k ow that very well, and that's why they keep having sleepless night over our success, influence, fame, energy, liveliness, culture…. just name it.
It disgust me that few Nigerians makes the world to call us all sort of names. They got an opportunity and block the opportunity the world present to us… Nigeria is truly bless.
The Nigerian English accent is similar for all educated Nigerians but the poorly educated and non-educated ones have diverse accents depending on where they are from and where they spent their formative years.
I do not understand why Nigerians always say – "despite all the challenges and hardship" My dear, everyone is feeling the hardship, it's not just Nigerians. The whole of Africa is feeling the hardship and pain. The difference is Nigerians are normally loud, so they are loud with their internal issues. Some Africans are not outspoken like Nigeria, but trust and believe, they are going through it too. Unfortunately, that's why you have some small African countries, who are not on Nigeria's level, have the guts to say what they say. You keep airing your dirty laundry and demeaning yourselves, it's not going to solve anything. The economy meltdown is not only in Africa, but globally as well. Even in the US here, things are getting out of hand. I just wish Nigerians stop using the phrase – 'despite everything we are going through'. The whole world is going through it as well.
On a lighter note : Even Nikki Minaj is learning to speak in Nigeria accent using Ayra's song.
Correction ma, the Dahomey Women Warrior movie is from Benin Republic, Cotonou. Not Benin City, Edo state, Nigeria. Please edit if you can before more people watch and comment or accept the same error. Thank you
Will Smith sounded Eastern African, its no way nigerian.

Nice one sis🎉🎉🎉
Dahomey was not in Nigeria. It was in Benin Republic. Close to present day Cotonou. Not Nigeria.
For me o, I am not sensitive if any non-Nigerian says we are aggressive and loud. I don't feel offended at all. Instead, I accept it with grace😊.

God bless the Land of Nigeria and Nigerians worldwide 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
