Amen if u were born in American. Engraved in the American culture all the days of your life. U are a black Americans. A white person who has a German heritage or European. They don't call them selfs. German American. Certainly not they call them selfs.white.americans. white people. Are linked to ancestors in many different countries white s came to America an took over it . an claim this country as their own. An all truth .to my understanding The Indians.were.the original founder of this country because they were so.small in number it was was tooken from them .
Smart man and a True American
IGNORANCE of the highest degree and it's a huge shame for someone like Mr. Robinson to be that ignorant. African American definitely does NOT mean you are from Africa.
It SIMPLY means you have African ancestry much like Irish, Italian, Native, Asian American simply describes their ancestry. To deny that ancestry is denying the undeniable. To even go further and loathingly say you've never even been to Africa on CNN to justify your denial of your roots just shows your self hate. I hope Mr. Robinson will heal one day 🤔
Imagine being called an Afro-Russian, that makes up 2% of Russia's population, that hold no positions of power, because of Russia's view that no one should be a slave, but, they shouldn't have equal rights. At least African-American honors an American's family's birthplace, like Asian American, Native American…etc.
That’s because he’s an American. Stop trying to separate people because they have a different skin color.
You're not black either, you're a light brown American. All these labels are faulty.
I’m Italian American but I have always identified as American. I’ve raised my children to identify as American period
Amen 🙏
So that means you ignore or forget your African heritage. For more generations than a few my ancestors came from Africa. Whatever he chooses to be called is his choice.
He's absolutely right. We're Americans, we're born here. We've got many generations here. Where Americans first.
Listen to this psychological confuse black man, trying to explain his disconnection with his African roots to a white racist supremacist ,news media well known white racist, this is psychological sickness.
Two, when it means "also", is spelled "too".
Chris Wallace is such a joke interviewer
Mr Robinson can be called whatever Mr Robinson chooses. I will call him Mr Robinson unless he tells me otherwise
Yessir…. This shyt is ours too.
My great grand parents were German. I dont consider myself a German American. Im an American, period. Why would Blacks be different?
As a blackam i approve that message.we are black Americans..i wasnt born in Africa then bought here ..if my ancestors eas still alive they would be called African American after they are citizens.. but they was never citizen because this country treated them like second class people
I totally agree with Smokey! Although we're from African descent, brought over in bonded. Over 400 years in America, Smokey is 100% on point.
