From the comments l have noticed many people don't take thr time to listen to the details .. which is MOST IMPORTANT!!! In China, there's something for everyone!!! Let me say it in a layman's language, ray uko na machingu na wivu and very defensive, you fear if you admit you might loose, but the fact that you've been in this industry for long doesn't mean we agree with you, you don't know for how long shiku has been in bussines so calling her naive is consoling yourself, times have evolved let's learn to adapt

At the same time, I think she should give Shiquo her flowers and acknowledge there is a middle-man cum broker who reaps more profits than the importer and retailer. Glad you are teaching the masses about importing stuff from China. This is an unchartered waters.
Good engagement Ray target market is not Shiku's target .Both are doing right Shiku is enjoying the benefit of the masses.If you follow Ray and know the items she sells its high end stuff and thats her niche.

I don't understand why people feel threatened by Shiquo wa hi style. She is a business woman just like many others. And of course by her selling at a low profit margin so that most Kenyans can afford doesn't mean the other business people will not sell. I agree about some household products but for the body products just know they are counterfeit.
The end is near for these self serving high profit margins importers. Wameanza kutetemeka. Wanjiku is wiser now.
I think she should also watch out for the pseudo accounts conning people with her brand,many people have fallen victim to placing orders online only to realize that it was all scam.

She is lamenting about the Kenyan lady selling at lower prices while not complaing at the China Square and othe big Chinese businesses selling things at a lower price. That lady in the interview should relax, Shiko cannot sell to 52 million Kenyans, she will still get her expensive customers….
