When you spoke about the South Africa in reference to Palestine, the thing that came tomy mind when I saw the speech was, Well what about the folks in Western Cape who is trying to take over that area with a separate government and distant itself from South Africa, like the same thing that happen to Namibia which is legally and officially SOUTH AFRICA. It is quite understandable that black people believe that they have no friends. But the truth is that apartheid in South Africa, nor Angola could never have been brought down without allies of other races. Neither would the civil rights movement have been successful without white support. You have a long way to go to true equality and so do all black people worldwide. I do not suffer overt racism in the Caribbean, but the white shadows are there, still casting themselves in our financial path. The long, white shadows of colonialism are yet to disappear.
I understand that you must save yourselves before you can save others. However……you must never forget the protests in far away places upon the murder of George Floyd! So,my suggestion is that you better articulate your priorities without alienating those who would support you in your fight. Take a different tone, because you aren't going to win on your own!
