Why Niger Has “Kicked Out” the US Military

Late on Saturday 16 March 2024, Niger’s military junta announced that it has ended an accord with the US that allowed military personnel and civilian staff from the US Department of Defense to operate in Niger. This announcement came days after Niger held high-level talks with US diplomatic and military officials last…

  1. ISIS = CIA, 99.9% of global "terrorist" activity is sponsored and financed by the CIA, no question about it! until the yankee empire is removed, we will all be living under its fist!!

  2. Air Base 201 wasn't doing nothing but spying on you while they steal your resources do not trust these people they're evil and do not mean you no good do not trust them anymore they had their chance

  3. Could u make a video on Manuel Pinto da Costa, Kukoi Samba Sanyang, Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, Alphonse Massamba-Debat or Mokhtar Ould Daddah? Cheers, have a good one!

  4. Smart move! Down with all neocolonial rule! How dare you people out African leaders on busses at an official event yet the prez of the US is driven in his limo while other European leaders have their limos.

  5. The US won't quit easily unless Russia moves in and sells them real weapons and air power to eliminate the terrorists. Niger has to fight the terrorist the Burkina Faso way. The US and French feed the terrorists so they can stay there indefinitely. That era has come to an end. China is ready for business.

  6. LOL despite what any fool on here says…. the results we've seen from African military dictatorships severing all ties with Western powers have not been very good to say the least.

I know France/US isn't there operating without their own interests, but just compared the two results. Who built the infrastructure?

  7. Everytime Americans or Russians are kicked out of a region, the region then have infightings with each other, war happens, and then the super powers like USA, Russia, UK, and China get blamed anyway. Look at Afghanistan and Pakistan. I know Americans are never good guys, but these folks even attack the Chinese for their own lack of self control instead of Africa itself. At some point its not even west vs east, africa and the middle east is just pissing both sides off.

  8. Our warm greetings and heartfelt congratulations to our brothers and sisters in the Republic of Niger, the leadership, government and people, for liquidating the Western colonial presence in the Niger and ending the political, economic and military hegemony over the political decision of the state and the wealth of the people in Niger.

I believe that the African union alongside Russia and China & Islamic republic of Iran should develop a medium and long-term plans to liquidate the remaining hotbeds of Western colonial present throughout the African continent.
If the West is allowed to retain those footholds scattered throughout the African continent, these hotbeds not only a military bases but represented also by remaining individuals, groups of white settlers, and economic interests will be the bases for justifying relaunching a series of military interventions across the African continent end up by reproducing the policy of direct colonialism and taking away what can be described as the fragile independence of African countries…

European countries built their wealth by colonizing the continents of the world and plundering their resources, and in Africa they systematically and extensively plundered resources and enslaved people…

  9. If you are very poor and weak, like those inexperienced, brainless but arrogant coup-makers in the dry Sahel, you must use wisdom , tact and decorum in dealing with the strongest and the most powerful, otherwise they will destroy you. Many are such examples on this continent.Governance in the modern world is not military dictatorship and strength , but diplomacy and international cooperation.

  11. This just and long-overdue anti-imperialist policy against the American neocolonialists and warmongers is rapidly spreading all over Africa and even far beyond. Other government leaders will soon be implementing it.

  12. Whatever our Nigerien bros do should be in their deliberate best interests. But one fact stands out and all Africans must bear it in mind. Don't trust the West in particular colonial France. No African nation has ever thrived under ties with the United States and the West. Look at Liberia a nation the US began and dumped after milking it dry. If the United States is ever a genuine government, that disposition and concern could have been mirrored through Liberia, their baby, and the nation they formed… All colonizers are invariably and inherently bitter with their former colonies and remain vengeful parasites. Get out of the shadow of the West and look elsewhere and you will not regret it. It's not the business of the U.S. and colonial Europeans to loiter around the world to dictate and choose friends for other sovereign nations. The days when the hypocritical United States and the West went around bullying other nations and preaching sham and conflicting democratic values are over.
