  1. I still have yet to watch episode 9!.. it took me a year to watch episode 8.. on Netflix (yes before disney+).. I started watching it.. stopped.. waited a few months.. watched a bit more… finally completing it a year later!.. prefer to watch Robot Head making fun of this crap.. then actually disappointing myself watching it alone.

  2. The last Jedi was the first time I left a theater just in utter and complete shock. It was so bad I could feel my happiness for Star Wars dying. I just couldn't believe they made that movie. This a clear attack on male fans of Star Wars,

  3. Finn could've been awesome.

Stormtrooper turned rebel, but has a connection to the force, it doesn't have to be Luke Skywalker levels of connection. He finds Rey, a scavenger who also has a connection to the force. Bothe despise where they came from, Finn from the First Order, Rey being abandoned by her parents and left on Jakku.

Finn wants to move away from his past, Rey can't stop remembering it.

This would somehow eventually lead to Rey joining Kylo Ren as he kills Snoke. Being that no Sith were known about at the time, Kylo would attempt to fill in the power vacuum. He'd become a Sith Lord and make Rey his apprentice.

This would lead to Finn and Rey reuniting to try and coax her back to light.

  4. I really enjoyed The Last Jedi, it wasn't perfect and had issues but overall I really liked it. Rise of Skywalker was absolutley horrendous though and completely retroactively ruined the previous movies for me.

  5. the force awakens can be acused of being like a soft reboot remake of the original but it had potential. they could have made something interesting with the new characters. then last jedi ruined everything.

  6. 9 is worse than 8, but episode VIII destroys everything good about the trilogy, Episode IX is like "fck it, everything is just fcked up so, do anything, we don't care"

  7. Robot head talking about Rey: "… and all she does is show up to SW celebration, and pretend she's starring in 3 more Star Wars films."

Oh boy, did I wish this didn't age so poorly…

  8. I remember the first time I saw the poster for The Force Awakens and I doubt I had even seen the prequels, so in my childish brain I envisioned the movie as a Christmas remake with Finn as the new Luke, Rey as Leia, Poe as Han, and Kylo Ren and Darth Vader. I wish I was more right.

  9. The force awakens – all right not great but it's just the beginning it might get better

Last jedi – ok this is really awful but at least it can't get worse

Rise of skywalker – wow it got worse
