  1. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a genius. That’s a good move. It will ensure efficiency of operations. There should be even distribution of power and economic institutions. It shouldn’t be concentrated in Abuja only

  2. Mr. Abubakar got it wrong; Nigeria does not have the infrastructure to support real-time internet transactions of that nature. The current network cannot even support ordinary telephone conversation successful without interruption of the service.

  3. We rather called it quite for all this nonntitties nothererners do they think that they owned Nigeria? Or they thinks that southerers and Eastern parts of Nigerians are second class in so called Nigeria may God Almighty judge all them.

  4. Tinunbu, is doing the same thing Obasanjo did to south east. He relocated the international airports, the seaports and major companies from south east to Lagos state in order to develop Lagos state, that's the cunning strategy tinunbu wants to adopt too. The consequences for this cruel cunning strategy Yorubas are using in order to attract wealth of others to Lagos state will soon backfire on them

  5. There's no law that mandated companies, even ministries to be at the Federal Capital.
You hardly find company headquarters in Washington, which is U.S capital, but lots of them in New York the former capital.
Besides, there is a CBN building in Lagos that is lying fallow for years now, unused to capacity, not minding the fact that CBN is paying rent at the Abuja office.
And we will be talking about wastage in the cost of government.

  6. The northern should be fighting for regional government so they can go take care of their region with all the looted Nigerian funds. Enough is enough north don’t need nothing more from other states in Nigeria. What benefits is one Nigeria.

  7. Yorubas are hypocritical when it concerns their interest. All I am hearing here is thst Abuja belongs to all Nigerians but when it comes to Lagos it belongs only to Yoruba people. Yoruba people are telling the Igbos to go back to the east that Lagos doesn't belong to them and they are systematically implementing it. All these talk is scramble for Nigeria resources period. Lagos is developed by our common wealth so also is Abuja but you have the temerity to ask the Igbos to leave Lagos. This attitude is actually shameful and hypocritical. 2022 election has really exposed all of us and every part of Nigeria is now apprehensive. When a part of this country is being maltreated, it becomes a lesson to others and this causes apprehension when decisions like this are taken.

  8. President Tinubu knows much about how to maintain resources economically, that was why he decided to move part of those overloaded part to Lagos State in order to ensure the maximum performance of officials.

  9. This is why decentralization is very important. The federal government should divest or share some powers with states so each states can develop at their own pace.

Every state have their comparative economic advantage which they cannot exploit because the federal government controls everything.

This issue is really a constitutional question. Should development start from the center or should development start at the local level ?

  10. You are on point sir. No ethnic group is the custodian of the Federal Capital Territory!!. Every inch of Abuja was paid for from the federation account.

We all know where all the money in that account came from. The empty barrels are usually the ones making the loudest noise.

We thank God for Yoruba intellectualism, that’s basically what’s holding this country together.

God knows the kind of progress we would have made as a country if Awolowo had the chance to run this country.

  11. NNPC,ALL REFINERIES SHOULD BE MOVED TO AKWA IBOM AFTERALL THAT STATE CONTRIBUTE 30 PERCENT WHICH REPRESENTS THE HIGHEST REVENUE CONTRIBUTION AMONG ALL THE STATES IN NIGERIA.

  12. Now Omo Olodo Ide is talking when Buhari Bokoharam was in government who dare challenged him Myetti Devil was even laying down the rules. Now awa lokan CBN was moved down to Abuja by Maradona (Babagida) now it has been moved down to is respective place sorry you take it or we divide the country as we have been saying. Yoruba.Nation no going back.

  13. Tinibu is re brandin home untensles like Dacorte whom has sold it's GOP to otesola
What does that mean to us most house holds are now affordable
We are not removing the capital
Take a look at this image maker
    Amed Bola

  14. They are not concern about productivity or progress for the country as it were. They are only concerned as its serve there own selfish interest. They're only displaying how narrow minded and parochial they've always been. They don't need any education on this, since they are deliberate. They had always think that everything about Nigeria is at there mercy. And such assumptions is rather unfortunate.

  15. The northern are only shop and shop people they don't have any plans for tomorrow only today that they know, Tinubu government wanted to make Nigeria move forward, like what awolowo do in the sixty that is his plan for Nigeria, but if the north are center minded people only then Tinubu should call for memorandum and allow each region to go there ways,

  16. Abuja belongs to Nigeria not the North only!!! The Northerners are so short sighted, myopic and tribalistic!!! Arewa should not cry ‘foul’ now!!! They wanted all parastatals to be in Abuja because they believe Abuja belongs to them not to all Nigerians!!!

  17. The problem with CBN operation in Abuja. They want to impose their attitudes on some operations that cannot effectively carried out in such environments. That is why their argument is one way

  18. Stupid northerners.when nnpc had their headquarters in Abuja while there was no single trace of oil in the north you guys did not see anything wrong in it .tinubu should even move nnpc back to ph.
