  1. KNOWLEDGE IS SO VERY POWERFUL!!! BLACK PEOPLE HAS ALWAYS BEEN TALENTED AND CREATIVE PEOPLE BUT THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE HELD US BACK BUT NOW WE ARE EDUCATED BLACK PEOPLE.. NOW IT'S DIFFERENT CHALLENGES THAT TRY AND KEEP US IN MENTAL SLAVERY…
I AM A FIRM BELIEVER THAT IF YOU HAVE THE "WILL GOD WILL GIVE YOU THE WAY!!!"
NEVER ALLOW MAN'S OBSTACLES STOP YOUR SHOW… IT MAY BE DELAYED BUT NEVER DENIED!!!
"THOSE WHO ARE FIRST SHALL BE LAST. THOSE THAT ARE LAST SHALL BE FIRST!!!"

  2. A black individual was arrested for opening a school and for teaching pupils! Black individuals arrested and killed all over the centuries, just because they dared to pursuit their freedom, education and surviving. What could be worse than that in someone existence? Despite these ordeal, black people produced a body of good stuffs that we still enjoy today. Let's talk about reparations, shall we?

  3. I was born and raised in STL never heard this story…
I have been studying our history for over 50 years.
And I am still learning our
stories something new all the time.
Only ignorant people fight a oppressive school system to include our history.
We should teach our children our history the real truth.
Start now so much information on the internet
    .

    Please share with your family.

  4. Honorable, my grandfather was born in 1889 in Mississippi Choctaw Ne-gro Indians, they had a state ordinance you can’t read in 1887. Stolen family farms and enslaving the children at the freeman Indian schools and u cant have church schooling. Just demonic, karma is real. Mother died poor due to stolen Texas land Allotments due her at age 17. End of days. 14:19 Cynthie the ne-gro Buddha.

  5. Thank you for shearing thus uplifting story with us John Meacham Jr. Was a great man in his time in everything when our people needed it the most throughout Slavory, and the great need for of our people to learn to read and be educated in everyway.

  7. This is so enlightening! Thank you for sharing this video. There are still many black people who don’t know all that we have contributed to the US States of America and to the world as a whole! I am so proud of my black race!

  8. Thank you for the work you do. I’m an educator and have not heard about this before not even in African-American history course. It’s so important that our children learn about their history other than slavery and the other historical figures that are talked about during Black History Month.

  10. This site is fantastic and inspiring. I grew up in Tacony, a Philadelphia neighborhood. I am white but there were many black families there. The Quakers paid the indeginous people for land, and they worked together, and also brought many slaves to freedom. Never heard stories you are sharing. Thank you. Blessings! ♥
