Jude, you are too optimistic! They fact that you think that there's hope baffles me. Every hope you have is based on that our politicians will have a change of heart, right? Tell me what signs you see that make you think that will happen? Nigerians, in our cowardice, always say " things will get better"! Can someone tell me how or where the see this light in Nigeria's tunnel of despair and depraved hatred of our country by the same people who claim to wwnt to lead it? I love your video, but please be more real and alarming! Most of us in Nigeria live in estates with gates manned by unprofessional security people armed with machetes! If a serious gang of armed criminals come to your estate by 10pm or afterwards, what will we do? The police like most offices are 'closed'! We don't have security! We go to bed every night literally at God's mercy and you are making it sound like we have a 911 or emergency number to call and maybe the police will show up, when we don't at all! We don't have any systems in Nigeria. Except 1: corruption system! It's endemic and controls everything in Nigeria. Everything! The only thing you can trust to work in Nigeria is corruption! You can boast to get documents, access, judgment, etc from Nigeria at the right price! That is one thing you can be sure of. What do you call children learning under those wood things an educational system? We have nothing! NOTHING! THE WORST PART IS NIGERIANS ARE OKAY WITH IT BECAUSE WE TOO ARE BAD PEOPLE! WE HOPE TO BE INDIVIDUALLY BETTER OFF AND AFFORD BETTER THINGS THAN OUR NEIGHBORS. THEN RUB IT IN THEIR FACES! INSTEAD OF WORKING SO THAT WE ARE COLLECTIVELY BETTER OFF. WHICH IS EASIER! THE BLACK RACE WON'T GET BETTER GLOBALLY UNTIL WE REMOVE HATRED FROM AMONGST OUR MIDST. I DONT SEE THAT HAPPENING!

STOP PRAYIJG NIGERIA! GID IS NOT DEAF. WE ARE OUR OWN PROBLEMS!

It would actually be great if the 6% of the budget that was earmarked for education actually reached the educational system in Nigeria. It so happens to be that majority of money actually goes to politicians and very little is left for the education system, so that 6% might actually be close to 1% or even a half percent.

omoh this video is so relatable… Nigeria education is so bad… I'm a 200 level student and lecturers don't just care about anything, most lectures take place in the convocation arena…. noise everywhere… I just tire

It will only take Nigerians to make changes in Nigeria.Corrupt leadership's strategy is to suppress the mind. They'll destroy the country economically, politically and socially to make poor societies wholey dependent on the government.

Running away from Nigeria will further weaken accountability and responsibility from government…..This is devastating🙆🏾

The worse part of the Nigerian education system is that, not only is it underfunded, students learn basically nothing because they received very substandard education. In order words, what institutions of higher learning produces yearly are poorly educated Nigerians who're lacking general basic knowledge, how much more knowledge about their own profession.

The end result is a nation of people where people pretty much make up their own definition of so many things because most of the people they speak with don't know any better. For example, I once had 2 different people at different times attempted to scam me by claiming that they needed money because they've been hospitalised, just for having high blood pressure 😂😂😂😂😂

The dire state of education in Nigeria, as highlighted by Jude's video, is a stark reminder of the crumbling system that has left countless children without access to quality learning. In response to this crisis, Beth-Help Foundation (BHF) was established to provide a beacon of hope for disadvantaged children. Our mission is to empower talented students from impoverished communities in western Africa, providing them with educational scholarships and support.

Over the past five years, BHF has:

    – Supported over 50 students with exclusive scholarships
    – Partnered with The Compass Society to extend our reach
    – Provided access to quality education, mentorship, and resources
    – Fostered a community of change-makers and leaders

We believe that change begins with us, and we cannot wait for the government to act. By partnering with us, you can help bring hope to more children. Together, we can:

    – Provide educational resources and support
    – Advocate for policy changes
    – Empower community-led initiatives
    – Create a brighter future, one child at a time

Join us in this journey, donate, share your ideas, and support our cause. Let's re-write the narrative of education in Nigeria, starting with the children who need it most.

This rot is prevalent across all sectors of the nigerian economy and parastatals. The armed forces, police, water, electricity, hospitals, pharmacies, learning institutions etc, are a shadow of what the colonialists handed to us at independence.Institutional corruption is a cancer that is slowly destroying the essence of the nation. If drastic measures are not taken to halt this disease,it will prove fatal in the long run.

I don’t know which is better. I noticed in the north school children are taught with their native language, meanwhile in edo state i have never seen such and it’s quite common for people to not be able to to speak their native language fluently.
