I just wanna point out that toriyama made nekomajin z which while takes place in the dragonball world is very clearly not canon , so you cant say everything the original creator makes is canon nessecarily. Daima probably is but we need to wait and see how all the contradictions play out
But in the first episode of Daima, they retcon the timeline and Goku's age again, by saying his growth spurt happened around the time he was 15. That's inconsistent with Dragon Ball Minus, and Super, since they said Goku was 15 in the first arc of Dragon Ball, instead of 12.
Everything you said for daima you can say for gt, toriyama already accepted the anime and manga together as one complete story, he might not have worked on gt as much as people wants but he did accept it as a canon end to dragon ball, and even later confirmed it in dragon ball kakarot where time patrollers are seen in the games main story as well as other events that toriyama confirmed would be added which are now canon. As toriyama considered kakarot an accurate retelling of the series main timeline.
And Daima will be the new timeline of DB not this dumbass DBS that's why he continued it right after the timeline of DBZ and eventually DBS will be non canon and it will be great because DBS sucks
another strange thing other then the split of shin and kibito in daima/super, vegeta unlocks ssj3 in daima, but in super during the goku black arc, trunks asks vegeta to use ssj3 and vegeta gets mad about it since he doesn't rlly have the form in super.
I personally think that Super Pre-Broly will be recapped or reanimated so the show has better pacing and fixes up some plot holes for a clearer vision due to some of Daima’s additions, like a movie that is basically a ‘best of’ compilation of DBS to recapture people’s attention towards the DBS anime. (It makes sense to me they’d remake Battle of Gods of all the movies at some point, dunno abt u)
You could also debate how much of super is canon since toriyama only made notes and send it to toyotaro and toei to flesh out the manga and anime story. From all sequel projects daima is the most canon one. Super had also tons of cooks in the kitchen, so supers canon status is questionable
It's Toriyama's final project to the Dragon Ball franchise, to fill some void and add some missing lore to give Toyotaro some time to prepare to take over the Dragon Ball Super manga.
