Why Does The Gambia Exist?
You know about The Gambia? That little country in West Africa that looks like it’s barely more than a river? That awkwardly cuts off Senegal? Why is it a separate country?

This is my last video for 2021. Been a year of some major ups and downs for me personally, but hopefully we can hope for things to start looking back up in 2022! As i'm on a sort of light winter break, I'll actually see you in three weeks (instead of two weeks like normal)
If y'all want to chat in the meantime, remember there's always that Discord server! https://discord.gg/yQzfxNdR6s
(Oh also r/KhAnubis is a thing. Maybe I should shout it out more)
White problem. Africa had kingdoms not countries
The Gambia and Palestine are just the same
Do any mexicans or white people live there?
I love you Foder
Yes I was answering quiz about maps then a question about Gambia came up..I was so confused I decided to search it up lol

>Why Gambia?
America's Fault.
These borders are the reason why Africa is not developing. We can't do nothing without Senegal and visit vasa. It's all about colonialism.
I hope all of the West will be out of the continent of Africa soon. The people that live in these places are modern-day slaves, made poor and dependent by the West.
😮 I live there
It's nobody's problem that they do.
Could the reason that The Gambia are still separate countries be linguistic? Do both still speak the former colonial languages – French in Senegal and English in The Gambia?
It doesn’t matter
If you guess politics, you’ll be right every time
Sénégal and Gambia : two countries , one people
Egypt
Because it’s the Gambia
I have no idea why The Gambia exists. That didnt explain anything.
A treaty to create and build some bridges and bilaterally policed corridors through Gambian territory and that's it.
