Also, why is the British Army allowed to train in private conservancies and pay directly to the owners of these Conservancies who in return wire these funds to offshore accounts?

How does their training…

  1. It’s used for acclimatisation mostly before soldiers have to deploy to a hot country.
Do you know we have Kenyan military training in UK? Paratroopers and some officers I have met come here for training. Also in Kings College of defence London.

  2. It’s very upsetting, which powers are this that these agreements cannot be revoked or be renegotiated considering all they have done since their establishment is injustices to the communities ?

It’s diabolical how we still have whites illegally owning lands on “lease” years after independence .

The inaction from our government (s) all through the years is loud!

  3. This whole "conservancy" issue and outright abuse of our people is quite AGGRAVATING!!!

I mean this conversation has been there for a very very long time, the difference this time is LNN has made it mainstream. My prayer is that it does not go back behind the scenes and into whispers.
We haven't even addressed the BATUK RAPES of our people over the years most of which was REPEATED resulting into unwanted children. They refer to us as animals while they are the real man eaters!!

This needs addressed ONCE AND FOR ALL!

We have been led by the wrong people from the get go, all these wrongs must be made right. I just hate that the GOK is nowhere close in the equation, so nonchalant! So so messed up!

STILL, THE LAND IS NOT THEIRS!!!

  6. I don't subscribe but occasionally comes across anyway laikipia is not in Kenya cause Kenya is still a neo colony and Kenyans vote not to dismantle the system, sadly even the Gen Z revolt is on good governance.

  7. The British army is still here because of Kenyan tribal politicians, boys who socially isolate themselves and surrender to violence. Jomo Kenyatta sold us out to the British so that Kikuyu boys with superiority complex can rule through democracy. Democracy is the real enemy, it raises criminals to power by sympathy voting by weak individuals.

  8. In South Africa, land inequality persists, with white farmers owning 70% of farmland despite being 7% of the population. Recent laws, like the Expropriation Act, aim to address this by allowing land seizures without compensation in certain cases, sparking international criticism and debates over historical injustices and property rights .

In Kenya, the parallels are undeniable. British colonial rule systematically dispossessed indigenous communities of their ancestral lands, paving the way for white settlers to establish vast farms and ranches. Even after independence, this inequitable distribution of land persisted, with many Kenyans still struggling to reclaim their heritage.

The presence of the British Army Training Unit in Kenya (BATUK) in areas like Laikipia and Nanyuki further compounds these historical grievances. While the official line emphasizes military cooperation and economic benefits, many Kenyans view BATUK's presence as a continuation of colonial-era exploitation. Concerns over environmental damage, human rights abuses, and the alienation of local communities from their land have fueled resentment and demands for greater accountability.

As Kenyans, we must stand firm in demanding justice and restitution for the atrocities committed during the colonial era and the ongoing injustices perpetuated by foreign interests. The Kenyan government must prioritize the interests of its citizens and take decisive action

  9. Questions i1. how did th persons who claim 2 own th conservertis acquire th land in th first place.
    2. Do they pay 4 land rates?
    3. Why is th land not kenya ( community) land any more.?
    4. Why can't it be reverted 2 rth community as it was b4?
