  1. There is always a Skeleton hidden in the closet, it makes me happy that I never married. When Charles Stanley is resurrected (Hebrew 9: 27) he will find that all the time he spent in the Baptist Ministry, he was serving the Devil Himself and not the Father of Jesus!

  2. Marriage is more than a notion for people to begin with, whether you are a Christian or not. It's difficult to keep personalities from conflicting as you learn each other over time. However, combining that with a life of ministry and expectations of a large congregation and you've invited triple the stress and unseen problems. The pressure to stay in an unhappy marriage just because people will talk is overwhelming. I don't judge people in this circumstance. What they decide to do is between them and God. You're condemned no matter what you do. Stay single if you want to serve in ministry. And that isn't good advise either but it worked the Apostle Paul.

  3. I hate hearing about these divorces, it’s such a negative for Christian’s leaders. This would be like the church divorcing Christ because he left us to be with the father. I don’t think this is the way.

  4. a woman called to be a pastor wife, have to sacrifice this Earthly life to serve the Kingdom along with her husband. The pastor should include his wife and kids in all activities regarding church. They should do all the tasks TOGETHER. He can never leave his family to do church job. Nothing more evil than this. TOGETHER |they can work for eternity and be happy with one another, feeling the sense of good accomplishment. That can never cause the children to leave church whatsoever. May God bless all pastors famillies.

  5. So Charles' job as the CEO of First Baptist interfered with his marriage. That's not surprising. Church people demand that their "pastor" do it all. That's too much of a burden for anyone to take on. "Pastors" who realize that their jobs are unbiblical, that they're doing everything except being a shepherd to the Family of God, probably feel like they're stuck. I don't know if Charles tried to delegate many of his tasks to associates, but it's likely that the board and the church would accuse him of neglecting his duties if he tried this. Well, now that he's retured, he's in a much better place, so I hope he has fellowship with other believers in a setup where he can be a true shepherd.

  6. Well he lose his wife but many as being saved through his ministry and still coming! What counts is that Jesus Christ will said to him” well done my faithful servant “ who ever doesn’t lose friends, families, houses even wives is not worthy of me ! Jesus said!

  7. Wow , with all my respect this lady had a great life financially bc of his ministry I guess it wasn’t good enough for her! She find out she was neglected after 40 years! God is first and then family hard to understand 😢
