I could never buy a Chinese car😂. Especially an EV😂. I am not sold on EV tech yet. Hybrid tech is great, but for me its a good old ICE vehicle.

In fairness, EVs made in the US and around the world were also catching on fire until they added high-grade carbon black and graphite into lithium-ion battery anodes which helps to dissipate heat. This isn’t a Chinese exclusive problem, but the technology exists and they need to catch up.

In the news this week in USA that China was going to start selling EV for $10K in USA. Yesterday heard that President Biden slapped 3x import tariff on them.
1. The best Chinese EVs are sold all over the world
2. More than half of all Teslas are build in China. The Chinese Teslas have a higher build quality than the US versions
3. Chinese build quality is better than most western cars
4. China does make cheaper EVs for the home market. They may be different, but I would not know because i could not buy one
