Bill Gates has financed a nuclear reactor in Wyoming that just started construction. It’s what’s known as a Natrium Reactor and uses a sodium-cooled fast reactor…

just don't take our farms
Wow I just learnt a new term "Nuclear Chill Pill". I think if Trump wins the Democrats are going to need some of those.
Ahh, now I know who's paying you.
Ammonia storage?
Is the reactor going to infect workers with viral radiation and sterilize anyone in a 300 mile radius?
I always trust EVERYTHING Bill Gates says.
He has sex with kids
Worth mentioning the Terrapower reactor design is not currently approved by the NRC
Great information… and I love the bits of humour!
In my language, the word for Sodium is also Natrium…lol
How did they solve the corrosion problem? I thought that was what was stopping molten salt reactors.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now we need Carbon Tax, or pollution penalties, and remove subsidies from fossil fuels and renewables alike. This will set plain and fair field for competition. Only this will help this type of projects. It is difficult to compete with highly subsidized and cheap fossil energy. Nobody wanted to invest immense amounts of money into this unknown and presumably dangerous technology.
sorry bill gates is the enemy
Yes and there is even more good news … Microsoft have contracted Crowdstrike to protect the computers. Genius. GCHQ were so pleased at Crowdstrike destroying 10 per cent of their computers they have given it a even larger contract.
So, after decades of "Nuclear Power Bad Evil" propaganda around the world, now we are seeing a sudden switch in attitudes from "Never Nuclear" , to "Let consider nuclear power / We need nuclear power!"…
..I wonder if GatesOfHell is behind this sudden "change" ??
Ask the Chernobyl technicians why running a BWR at low power , for long periods, is not a good idea – a buildup of a Xenon "Xenon poisoning"… 🙂
Finally Molten Salt reactors (MSRs) may be introduced for widespread use ( bit late to the party, but better late than never).
Also combining MSR reactors with using Thorium fuel ( plentiful around the world) mixed with nuclear waste to add to fuel, would almost make the perfect nuclear power source.
Only problem with Thorium, it can be used to make nuclear weapons. ( ..the main reason Uranium and Plutonium reactors exist, along with producing power.)
Liquid salt self contained modular reactors make much more sense than fusion at this point.
Germany no reliable power but lots of migrants.Good luck with that.
Is it fission? Or is it a fusion reactor?.
'es tut mir lied'
And guess which AI company will be using this plant for its data centers.
Sabine, i love your sense of humor! 😹
I already read about TerraPower some years ago and i understand that prototypes are already running in China.
Often salt is corrosive. How are the pipes protected and how does this affect regular maintenance monitoring and replacing corroded components?
His modular reactors need more weapon grade uranium and produce more nuclear waste…
Nuclear power is the most expensive way to produce electricity…
What could go wrong with a highly corrosive coolant…
Unfortunately it belongs to the gnostic charlatan, Bill Gates.
So an MSR. Why the hell is natrium trademarked in the animation XD
bill gates is a very evil person
