Bill Gates has financed a nuclear reactor in Wyoming that just started construction. It’s what’s known as a Natrium Reactor and uses a sodium-cooled fast reactor…

  1. Now we need Carbon Tax, or pollution penalties, and remove subsidies from fossil fuels and renewables alike. This will set plain and fair field for competition. Only this will help this type of projects. It is difficult to compete with highly subsidized and cheap fossil energy. Nobody wanted to invest immense amounts of money into this unknown and presumably dangerous technology.

  2. Yes and there is even more good news … Microsoft have contracted Crowdstrike to protect the computers. Genius. GCHQ were so pleased at Crowdstrike destroying 10 per cent of their computers they have given it a even larger contract.

  3. So, after decades of "Nuclear Power Bad Evil" propaganda around the world, now we are seeing a sudden switch in attitudes from "Never Nuclear" , to "Let consider nuclear power / We need nuclear power!"…
..I wonder if GatesOfHell is behind this sudden "change" ??

  4. Finally Molten Salt reactors (MSRs) may be introduced for widespread use ( bit late to the party, but better late than never).
Also combining MSR reactors with using Thorium fuel ( plentiful around the world) mixed with nuclear waste to add to fuel, would almost make the perfect nuclear power source.
Only problem with Thorium, it can be used to make nuclear weapons. ( ..the main reason Uranium and Plutonium reactors exist, along with producing power.)

  5. Often salt is corrosive. How are the pipes protected and how does this affect regular maintenance monitoring and replacing corroded components?

  6. His modular reactors need more weapon grade uranium and produce more nuclear waste…
Nuclear power is the most expensive way to produce electricity…
What could go wrong with a highly corrosive coolant…
