Typically, people don't rebel from what they think is a good deal. You're describing symptoms of a deeper problem. The deeper problem is Black men in the West have little to no power compared to the white patriarchy in the West, Patriarchy is a dying status that even White women are against to the point of white men complaining, and many Black men often bow down to White men and then top that with problematic views on how they treat their women thinking it's the traditional African way and not a colonized African mindset adopting unhealthy views of women from the Arabs and Europeans via their religions and cultural influences. Yes, there is internalized racism, but there is not a counter pro black movement of significance in the UK that promotes Black excellence , a unified Black singular identity and commitment to each other. Furthermore, if Black women are weaponized against BM in the UK by using the legal system, Black men are weaponized against Black women and children in the UK through criminality and helping to be destructive elements of the Black community via gangs, drug use, drug selling, sex trafficking, and so on. Both groups will be used against one another and the Black community. So, both sides need to get it together.

Phrankleen, African men also need some teaching. Many African men marry good women but mistreat them so badly, I'm an African woman and I have seen this over and over again. Why do they think that as soon as a woman becomes a wife it's the time to start mistreating her. The women leave these toxic relationships, move on with their children, struggle through life and managed to stand on their feet. The men come later to apologize and claim "I don't know why I was doing it".

They did it by putting one against the other; by skin color (light vs dark) and by pitting young vs old against each other. We see all of the above today. We also see native Africans being pitted against African Americans.

Relationship problems stem from selfishness. The relationship between women and men is a constant add and subtract, subtract and add. The family relationship between animals have more sense than the modern black family.
I am an African woman in my 60's & proud to be African. But i have succedded due to white men, and have not seen any African man who has added value on me apart from the socially, eg music, dance & good conversion.
So i advice my children to marry whites , cos they will protect & provide. I want my children to lead a comfortable life. And so does any mother.

I have seen a woman who is on benefit and not happy she wants to go in pursuit of her career and develop herself but her husband refuses for his own selfish reasons just because he sees her as a competition. Each time she makes an attempt and job opportunities comes her way he belittles her saying the salary is not ok. Meanwhile he grabs any opportunities that comes his own way. Our black brothers need to be more strategic and less emotional when faced with such women. Women are smart, they read the terrain then deliberately provoke you so you csn react like an 'African man' i.e. with anger and emotion. Problem is in this part of the world such a reaction is the same as going to London zoo, get angry with the lions then jump into their enclosure to give the lioness a slap because you are angry. Either you or the lioness will not leave the enclosure in one piece. But if lions were invincible they would not end up in cages. They got their because while Lions are stronger tham men, men are smarter than Lions. We lose because women play smarter. If we are smarter we can win

Dont get mad. Get even. Go to court, look for her weak points and reveal them in court in a manner that shows you are trying to protect your kids from them. We all have weaknesses. You were married to her so you will know what she doesnt want the world to know. Use that in court. But when you are consumed in your 'African' anger how can you think straight. Thats what they want. She is using the law against you. Return the favour, use it against her. If she has left your life how is that a curse. Surely a toxic person removing herself from your life can only be a blessing. Go to court to get access to your kids. Thats all you need from her. The kids grow fast. Soon they will be adults and history 101 will say SHE walked out. You did NOT abandon them. That is what your grandkids will hear about grandma. Thats why they dont want you to have access to the kids. So they can write you our of their history.
