If you are single and truly happy, great for you. If you are an elder like this lady and already raised your children. That's fine too. But the truth is most black women would love to have a man love them correctly, have children with and grow old together. Why tell young women and middle aged women it's okay to be single just because you are so happy? Why tell them something you didn't do? Typical single black older woman giving advice she never took herself until she got older and no longer had any choices. It's just not right!! The bad relationships and baby daddies any of us had were bad choices we made. It's not always the men's fault. Black men are still desired everywhere. There are many that are still great men. Please do not take advice from a woman, whether old or young, on what a "man", and in this case a "black" man wants. She is not so how can she truly know what we want. Especially the millions of us.
Most black men yearn for and want a black woman. Some of us do not. Personally, I have been both. All of us want a woman, regardless of race, to possess character, class, honesty, humility, and work ethic. Some of us like short women. Some of us like tall women. Some of us like women on the thicker side, but not fat. There is a difference. Some of us like women on the thinner side, but not skinny. Again, there is a difference. Some of us like lighter skin. Some of us want darker skin. Whether a woman is light or dark, the main traits that will lead to MARRIAGE is character, class, and health.

What is sad is some women make it hard for us because of thier behavior I seen a few bad apples on the news and they were blk women and many of the blk men look at these cases has trouble some, they are horrible cases but to put many of us in one category is not fair, because but apples happen in all race of people, but true both blk men and women went a lot due to thier backgrounds so being careful of who we linked up is a good idea.
