Why Are Black Male Athletes Only Dating White Girls?

A video has gone viral of NFL draft pick Olu Fashanu’s mother seemingly blocking his girlfriend after it was announced that he’d been selected as the No. 11 pick this week.

The 21-year-old former Penn State offensive lineman learned he was drafted by the New York Jets on April 25, but it’s his mother’s reaction that has gone viral.

  1. Hoping that every race just stays within themselves, there's no way it's going to happen. Dating is global now..People are dating different races from all across the world not just in the United States. The concept of every one dating/marrying within their own race died out about seventy years ago.. As far as the NFL teaching these guys who to date ,a lot of these guys have been going with these girls since the ninth and tenth grade, before they are on any colleges radar. And far as people being able to date who they want I totally agree with that.

  2. Look at the whole video, in the beginning of the video the mom and the girlfriend are holding hands and in the video the mom gave her a genuine hug. Peep the whole video from a to z. The mom showed no signs of not being fond of her. The excitement for her son just overruled everything.

  3. Ppl are allowed to be with who they want. I went to uc Santa Barbara and it just happens there were a bunch of white girls. Your environment influences a lot of outcomes. There aren’t many black women on campuses.

  4. Before I push don't recommend this channel I date and like whoever I want I dated white and black women and so what I like WOMEN not a certain race of them

  5. White women know how to play the game better than black women; Black Women can learn a thing or 2 from White Women.

With Black women, they like to reveal their hand to early and Try to run game on men to get what they want instead of Falling back and letting go of their ego and just letting it come to them.

In other words A Woman is going to be woman, no matter the color but with white women, they know how to manipulate better to get what the want in the long-term. Black women like to play the short term game, that's 1 reason as to why Successful men go elsewhere

  6. The sad part about this is that those white women are not going to stay with those men, the white women just know how to play the game, and also we keep forgetting that 78 percent of NFL players go broke anyway honestly if they are happy go for it just don't go broke.

  7. Because white girls tend to go husband hunting for a man with high potential WHILE in college. Blk girls don't try to make finding a husband a job until after college and going on 40 y/o. Cause they been taught by their momma "they dont need a man and get the bag".
When a man makes money, he attracts women. When a woman makes money, she repels men.

  8. I think it all depends on intention. Unfortunately, black women make their intentions more clear and quickly. There is the mainstream culture that black women can not be held accountable or criticize for their actions. I always think that holding our own accountable matters.

  9. Why not? If she is interested and he wants her, the relationship may work. With only 24% of black people getting married and the average marriage to a black woman only lasting 5 years, the choice speaks for itself.

  10. This is not a fact to say all and why do you or anybody else care especially as a man. Do you look as those women as competition or you looking for clout it has to be one or the other or maybe both 😂

  11. White girls don't wait for their men at the finish line like Keisha does. Besides, the SAME black girls that get upset at these NFL players being drafted are the SAME black girls who was mad at Simone Biles for saying her NFL husband was the prize. Make THAT make sense.

  12. It’s hard to stick with our own women when they are fighting us every step of the way. These brothers have found peace ✌🏽 I don’t blame them. You’re blaming social media and society when they are making a choice to act how they are. You reap what you sow. They only upset that these boys getting paid and they don’t want them 😂

  13. Why is it such a big deal when a black man dates, marries, and procreates with a woman of a different ethnicity, but when a black woman does the same it’s a celebration. Serena Williams, Kerry Williams, Halle Berry(who can’t keep a man regardless of his ethnicity), Meghan Markle!!! Celebrated. Marry the woman you love, and who loves you back. Sheesh

  14. Y’all it all started in slavery that’s all they have made us look weak by taking down the strongest we gotta show our strength now we aren’t afraid so was the problem now we have gotten stupid and self hate s why blacks can’t grow it has nun yo do with the whine it’s the simple few ahead of us we looking up to so we move on what we see which is sad we move like lost souls and now everyone and they mother wanna claim our culture and give us the fucked up culture look porn yah eyes we gong against each other like them guys want we losing the battle when we was winning staying to ourselves

  15. It’s weird to hear this being perpetuated by our People as if they have inkling of autonomy in someone else’s life…like they want to see representation from others, even when it has nothing to do with them.

  16. As a former D1 scholar-athlete, Black women have been & are currently are outnumbered < 20-1 by other races & do not have the time to follow around athletes that party 3x/week and major in general studies. The black women I went to school with, concentrated on their majors, community service via their sorority groups & were employed. The white women had time to party, were supported by their parents financially + the university social gatherings/nightlife is set up for white students & athletes.. didn’t really look at it that way when I played, but maturing and viewing this in the macro, black athletes (I dare to say) at major universities are groomed by universities to engage with white women .. just my thought/experience. I think it’s something most black athletes grow out of, but by then it’s usually too late. They are 2+kids deep & a failing marriage into their “white fetish”..
