  1. Mr Mark I have been watching you going to african countries with your program which I love. I'm from one of the west african countries.
What is this about squeezing of rice dish when you are eating rice in any of the african countries. Can't you eat the rice with a damn spoon . notting is wrong eating with your hand , don't get me wrong , the squeezing of the rice before eating , I don' t get it.
    Love your program. Remain blessed.

  2. Watching this video, I realize that the way of cooking yassa is different from one place to another. I'm Senegalese, but I don't prepare yassa that way. I cook the chicken in the oven until it is golden brown. before, I macerate it in lemon juice, vinegar, a little mustard, salt and black pepper. the chopped onions, I brown them over low heat in a drizzle of oil that I do not bring to a boil (too hot oil is bad for your health). Once the onions are almost golden, I add a glass of water, then the juice retained from the chicken marinade, pepper, a little mustard and I adjust according to my taste during cooking. At the end, I add pre-cooked green olives to my sauce. And only then do I add salt. I then add the chicken. for the rice garnish, it's pretty much the same as in the video, except that I never salt my white rice and I don't add oil when cooking it, either.

  3. "I'm going to be sharing some delicious food with you today" translation = I am using a classic manipulation phrase but you're really not getting anything while I'm stuffing my face on camera, having a cliche Non-Stop running commentary of oohs and aaahs & yummy, the superlatives that have been used over and over again in every single cooking traveling TV show, to pretend that you're part of the process while you really get nothing at all and I get paid for you watching me.

Which is pretty much the same thing everybody says when doing unboxing videos they pretend they share something with you and you fall for it, time and again while you get nothing at all and he gets money from you watching it.

Typical manipulative user response to my direct statement of Truth here: "are you okay?"

ME: NOOOO! I am not okay I am not the one scarfing down all the delicious African food! I'm I'm hungry and envious so how do you expect me to be okay?!🤬😡😵😔😋🤪

  4. I love Mark but chewing with his mouth open bothers me….maybe take smaller bites, or wait a bit longer before you speak. Sorry, it's a small thing but always irritates me with every video.
