I don’t think Samsung had anything to do with flip and fold. Flip phones have opened that way for decades and laptops have “folded” shut for just as long.
The million dollar questions is who can make a flip or folding phone without crease? We know that this what stops others from buying flip/folding phones. And I'm one of them.

I would very much get a flip iPhone. I’ve always had some form of issues with Samsung in all categories, tvs, tablets, smartphones. So I’m not going back to that brand. But I will happily take an iPhone in flip format. I don’t prefer fold as I don’t need a bigger display it offers. I’m fine with my 6.7-6.9 inch regular screen on a flip phone. So long the reliability is there and the screen (hopefully) isn’t plastic…
Apple always lets other manufacturers work out the flaws the best they can before attempting to add it as a feature. That’s why it always looks like Apple is copying them, cause they are, they just skip the problems that comes with trying out everything themselves
Apple's flip iphone would go crazy. The only reason the samsung flip hasnt done amazing is because its samsung, the brand is literally all the matters for a good chunk on people.
I had the flip 5, i love the form factor and not really needing to pull out a full phone to send 1 text message. What i dont like about it is that the lcd is more prone to dead pixels, especially near the hinge. Plus if an air bubble on the screen protector, (bc eventually if u fold it often it might develop) the screen doesnt look good anymore, the crease will definitely be prominent in every angle
I love flip phones, and i love Samsung. Can't wait until a flip gets to the normal phone standarts, so i can buy one. I hate Apple and all their scummy scemes, but im not gona lie if they make a flip phone too. Samsung will have real competition, so their phones will be better

i'm a convert to the flip phones, i don't think i could go back to a normal phone after living with my flip 5 for a while now
