Im so glad you covered the bias! yes everyone sucks but there is definitely a vibe of western women being "temptors" who seduce innocent married men in korea and japan where a lot of/most high profile spouses cheat.

I wouldnt agree at all that you dont deserve any blame for being in a relationship with someone who has a spouse/partner. The important aspect is obviously weather you know about it or not, if your knowingly 'helping' someone cheat on their partner you are scum.
Obviously the actual cheater is worse, but by no means at all would it be fair to say you've done nothing wrong and are "off the hook." I wouldnt even agree that such a view was common, its probably not as exetreme as in Japan where you can be sued which does seem like too much, but we have terms like "homewrecker" for describing this type of person knowingly sleeping with people in a relationship with someone already.

if you're a public figure in japan you have to keep a good face to public. one of my family member is a big superstar in japan and gets a lot of harassment from random people trying to tarnish the reputation. bad thing is, this white girl was in affair with a married dude… thats a career destroying scandal. this also happen to 100% japanese stars its even worse because even if their family member was involved in a scandal they are also affected by it

I don't eat rice i hate miso soup of natto i am vegan so i basically do not eat 90% of japanese cuisine. But i am 1000% japanese.

I was born and raised in Kyoto and my parents were born in kyoto and so were my grandparents but i can't even call myself from Kyoto in Japan because in Kyoto you need to have 5 generations BURIED in kyoto after entire lives in Kyoto to call yourself from Kyoto and in Tokyo it is 3 generations.
