  1. Of course the US, that only 48% of citizens own a passport and I think that way less than 48% of those even bothered to visit Europe, would think white people can't cook.

  2. Let’s please put to bed the crappy Brit stereotype of ‘fish n chips’! We eat it rarely, and MUCH more commonly eaten and tasty are, for ex: ‘Shepherds Pie’ ‘Steak and kindney Pie’ ‘Haggis’ or ‘Beef Wellington’. Ooooh ‘Christmas Pudding’ with brandy and cream is the best!

  3. Using spices to mask spoiled food is a myth, there is no amount of seasoning that will mask taste and smell of spoiled food, especially spoiled meat or eggs. Also if the food is spoiled, eating it is inadvisable anyway, because it can end up in food poisoning which can be lethal without proper treatment, especially in places that have poor access to medical care

  4. i feel that white americans have forgotten how to season anything. russians season their okroshka, germans use vinegar for their potato salad etc, white americans just boil and butter their food. and this is coming from a white american.

  5. Yeah that bit about spices being used to mask the taste of stale meat is a myth. If you eat stale meat you get sick and if it was in the middle ages then you certainly died, people knew this, not only in Europe mind you, but algo in Asia. the Americas, Africa, etc

  6. My chemistry teacher (who's a Pakistani) once told me that he once had Fish n' Chips (a British dish) and said that its bland. We then told him that they don't use spices which we use nor are they used to it much lol

  7. Oh, the irony. Americans calls British food bad because of war rationing because they just had to make do, they call a whole subset of their own food bland because of poor settlers that couldn't bring their best stuff in a suitcase centuries ago on boats and just had to make do.

  8. The Western and Southern USA has a lot of heat and spice from the influence of Mexico and central/south America as well as SE Asia like Korea, Thailand and China has changed the cuisine. My staple favorite is a good example, it's a Hamburger with 1 egg, pickled or fried Jalapenos with Mexican hot sauce, it's almost too good to be real!! Or a Guacamole/Tomatillo Hamburger with bacon and hot sauce. You can find this merger of cuisines pretty standard, just walk in to any bar or diner or even chain restaurants like Red Robin or Applebee's and the menu has lots of heat, I almost dare say there is more stuff with Heat then without it. White people food is for sure very popular too, Seattle here has always been a fish and seafood town and most of that has no heat but even the most iconic old world, super popular seafood restaurants in Seattle have many hot/spicy items for sure, just google the top restaurants in Seattle and you will find a mixture of white people food with heat it's pretty funny. You also see this in Japan which is pretty much white people food, yes Japan has Wasabi but its only a condiment, but you can find in Japan today lots of spicy options which are adopted from Korea/China and even Mexico or South America.

  9. when people say european food they talk either British, Irish, German or Northern European Cuisines/foods, they ignore France, Italy, Spain, and the Balkan nations cause the cuisines/foods are too good considerated too good to be white.

  10. As a dual citizen of an EU country and America, that bit about differences in food quality if definitely wrong. If we compare dishes at the same price point, they look exactly the same. You'll find the same sad looking schlock for $10 or equivalent in both places. Hell a relative has a business importing certain consumer products from America.

  11. I don't want to be a party pooper , but – Tomato, Potato aaand Pepper (The Staple of European Cuisine, except cabbage, carrots and shrooms, we had those MF here) originally came from South America thanks to Spain. As a Bulgarian I am eternally grateful to the Conquistadors because we wouldn't have Shopska Salad, Stuffed Peppers aaand Potato Stew amongst many many others Eastern (and the other parts of) European delights. Just food for thought
