They would not do that if you are depositing the check in their bank
Boycott the bank. Fortunately, it's never happened to BLACK me at my bank. But I've heard alot of stories on prejudice services attempted by them.

Although this is still an issue, I don't know when the last time I cash a check in the bank. I do this online.
But I guess I rather move to the 21st Century than complain. And by the way, I'm black.
They are even card companies like chime that you can put your checks through. You just got to do what you got to do to avoid situations like this.

I've had that happen a few times, at different banks. It's systemic. I just let them "do their job.'

So as I was on YouTube I was reading some comments why African-Americans don't like supporting black businesses because of customer service disproves that African-Americans believe the ice and the ice bag is colder coming from a white person we break our neck to patronize Caucasians businesses we don't complain about bad customer service when other ethnic groups don't give a service or they follow us around the store will they make you pay up front see how we accept bad customer service from other ethnic groups that we would never put up with black African-American businesses we deserve what we get

My last corporate job gave me a holiday bonus as a large check. Resentment from the tellers was real. Same as with tax returns back in the day. Even from Black tellers is scary.
