He did him dirty telling him that. His second attempt was done better because he had already attempted. Its literally just practice and listening closely to pitch changes. Softer love songs make this very easy to practice and then its grasped very easily.

Everybody can sing. It’s just a matter of discovering your style and practice. The ones that “cant” sing are usually the prideful and willfully ignorant ones. I say the same to my friends that say “I wish I could draw like you.” You can, creativity, artistry, it’s a muscle, it requires exercise and practice like anything else in life.
