What's going on with Windows Laptops?

Windows ARM laptops are finally having a moment and I’m loving it.

  1. Nothing new here: disjointed effort to mimic Apple, without understanding how or why it works or is this effort really necessary. Not to mention, that given fact of Apple being stingy and not innovative with cooling and absurd TDP – all ARM advantages are being lost anyway.

  2. Hey long shot here. I have a brand new flip 6. And I’m selling it to you for 5000 dollars. It’s the Olympian version that they gave to all the athletes. It’s gorgeous. I don’t want to sell it but hopefully for being athlete you understand the Olympians not being paid is sad. Skateboarder in the Olympics by the way.

  3. I'm all for desktop ARM. I just wish we had a proper (and open source) x86 translation layer. Something akin to what Proton/Wine is for Linux. That's all that's missing currently.

  4. Are those dbrand skins actually legit this time or are they still just ripping off other peoples designs? I guess either way they definitely didn’t come up with the x-ray skin idea on their own. Seems shady…

  5. At first I thought it was a Macbook Pro in black. It looks very similar😀. I've never had a problem on my Pro with the M3 Pro chip – It's by far my favorite apple product in a long time.

  6. It's funny how nobody heard you or anyone else asking about the very low game support on Intel macs going to a handful of titles, or how third party software (including expensive audio software, plugins, hardware and drivers) would be exterminated with their ARM switch. This was somehow not bad for Macs, so why are we hearing this now, and why is it bad for Windows? At least Windows has 100x more application software and 1000x more games, so that this many more packages would work after the CPU switch extermination. If this is a problem (now that you think about it 4 years later), it should be less of a problem (given all the software available for Windows) so that it would be natural to mention the Apple CPU switch extermination in many videos before you mention the Windows one.

  7. Bought two of the larger screen units w x-elite. Neither of them would stay consistently connected to Wi-Fi. At worst they would drop every minute when I watched a YouTube video. Very much a beta product

  8. why do yall keep saying that microsoft surface now moved to ARM in youre techvideos ? it was always ARM because the intel core chips installed on surface was always an ARM version of intel core
