Crazy good!
The interrupting & clarifications between Noah and Stephen, particularly at 3:26–4:56, gives off such sibling energy.
I disagree about local politics – I believe that it's healthy for the Mayor of NYC to hate themself. In fact, it's probably the best way to approach the office. π€£
There is no other anthem in the world that so appropriately foreshadowed its nation's future position as an all-bombs, all-the-time imperial power. (But also, musically, it really is the best anthem I've ever heard, and I've heard quite a few).
Yeah afganistan… vietnam….korea ….china…..wud to differ……and also

Hey Mr. Narcissists, tell the people (both BLACK and WHITE) how those $399.00 sneakers are made via Child labor for only one dollar ninety-nine cents ($1.99)?
Would you look at that, African can grow afro. I guess its all about the climate. good to know
So good. Two little corrections: bomb shelters = you find in all private individual houses in Singapores.
Complain about politics you did not vote for = Brazil is exactly such US (politics treated as sports supporting).
Why do you need an American flag on your house since you live in the USA? That's very strange for us from Europe. We are so aware of where we live and what country we live in; therefore, we don't need a flag to remind us.
Trevor Noah really failed miserably on the daily show.
I get it. You were poor and tou struggled. But that doesnt mean you automatically are entitled to highly important roles thay requires careful navigation and empathy whem talking to politically unaligned individuals.
But nope. Trevor Noah loved condescending preaches & I really couldnt watch him.
The french national anthem is not really about how beautiful the country is… π
"Let him go "πππ
You need to listen to the Jamaican National Anthem.
When I was in Canada, I was asked what I think about that Merkel isnβt popular in Canada. And my reaction was just βehhπ€·πΌββοΈβ and then explained that we donβt really like our politicians either and that we donβt really have this fandom surrounding politics like in the US π (that was 2018)
The full anthem, the second chorus, glorifies slavery and denigrates African descendants
Now I want listen to the American anthem clearly πππ
Scotland would like to have a word about national anthems ππ»

Anthem, servicemen, flags……were brought by Geroge Bush
Trevor is amazing
Trevor is fabulous also.
Best anthem in the world is Nkosi Sikelela
The jokes were not as funny as watching Noah squirm trying not to offend Americans who can't face truth or criticism of their own country.
Trevor doesn't know the french Anthem ππ
These two together are fun to watch!!
I love this so much. And as a French major, I couldn't help but think of the French national anthem. It refers to foreign soldiers meaning to slit throats and those same soldiers' impure blood flooding the fields. Maybe there are no bombs, but it's certainly not all, "Our country is so beautiful." (Which, by the way, it is.)
Anything but grateful for America.
