Nigerians wake up !!! This refinery is not a win for Dangote, but a blessing for Nigeria. Your country will be the richest if you deliver oil. In my country the govt would subsidize the refinery to make it succeed beyond.

The entire business competition and ethics in Nigeria was brought to its knees just to empower this man.
Every business man will grow and dominate in such unfair atmosphere.

I feel bad for the Nigerian people, it's so to see how Africa has everything to succeed but our leaders are too greedy and selfish, they prefer to see their own people starve and suffer of hunger having all the natural resources to change the paradigm, it's so wicked what they do to Africans, Dangote is trying to help Nigeria but their own leaders don't want to change the country for the better, all because of bribe money that they receive from Western interests, it's so sad.

I'm south african.. I always say that Nigeria can be Africa's power house!! Everyone will want opportunities there… if only their leaders can think about how to benefit the nigerian people instead of their own pockets… now there is a growing issue of brain drain in Nigeria, why?, because Nigerians are now assisting in developing other countries economies because their input in their own country would not be taken into consideration.

Same thing in Zimbabwe, great minds, great education system but most of them have left the country.

Those are what he did by using the government to ease other producers

How would he have outwitted Tate and lyle sugar and others if not for join ventures with those in power to date.

He is a monopolistic person because the Nigerian continue to favour him right or wrong.

He tried with the Chinese indomie but failed flat because the Chinese owns Nigeria.

The reason for all dangote problems in regards to oil is not monopoly because he has done that before in other industries. It more about power, wealth, ethnicity, and location of his refinery. If anybody knows something about Lagos it is mostly run by one individual. Jude I want to give you an assignment if you can. Politics of Lagos, oil smuggling in Lagos, drug production in Lagos point to one person so cannot allow another king in his territory

At least Dangote's business guts has exposed the source of a great bondage of inefficiency and corruption. The people suffer under that bondage. Only the people can demand laws that choke off the corruption that insists on importing what we first exported. Only the people can take back their stolen oil, and restore Nature's blessings to those to whom it belongs. Dangote's aims are at problem-solving. He must be free to solve the common man's problems – whatever label we might attach, today; to his business outfit. Any monopoly can be resolved, also by the law. For now, I believe the people need to work with the one with their best interests at heart. This oil nonsense is too shameful. Petrol is cheaper than water in some oil-producing nations that compare with Nigeria!!! We are NOT only there to be exploited by foreign thieves who hide behind their very few local puppets. We ARE better than this.

Thank you for this, I have been trying to fix the puzzle why Good luck Jonathan and Obasanjo are asking for one Nigeria under impossible situation. Now it makes sense to me why they are asking for one Nigeria, it's because they made a pact with Dangote to continue his empire of Southern Nigeria wealth in his pocket. The LORD of the Universe will give each of them according to their ways.
