  1. I love this video. I got a chance to go back to Juba last year for the first time in 10 years and my experience was similar. I relate to the surrealness of it all. One thing I was unexpectedly touched by was being surrounded by the presence of people who look just like me. Did you notice that as well? And I agree, witnessing the wealth disparity in real life was unsettling. It definitely stirred something in me as well.

  4. Omg I’m from north Sudan my mom tells me stories when Sudan was one she said the south had the most beautiful fertile lands with mangos falling out the tree she wasn’t lying🔥😂💯🇸🇩🇸🇸💓

  6. I love being home, just like you i prefer the village where my parents are from, I've travelled to Rumbek and Aliab. You captured great footage! Oh and don't worry girl, there's always someone that gets annoyed with you filming. This guy yelled at me but oh well 😂

  11. Thanks, Sister Achan…South Sudan has a great future, and we are so proud that we have such a beautiful country. Some people might despise S. Sudan, but will be prove wrong with time. What we need for now as S. Sudanese is good leadership. The rest will be a history. There is no naturally beautiful land like South Sudan…it is our pride❤

Also I feel you with the language barrier but I’ve lived in Kenya for two years (I’m south sudanese & dinka) I was fluent but I understand fully but only half dinka😭 I’ll be going back in December but we’re visiting South Sudan as well I’m kinda scared I’m ngl 😭 but I hope everything works out in gods plan, god bless you 🙏🙏
