In 2018, I had the pleasure of visiting 21 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. I absolutely love this continent. It offers incredible nature, culture, and experiences that you cannot find anywhere else.

In a sense, I feel…

  1. Bro it’s not because of your skin color 🤦🏽‍♂️ It’s because you are American and they assume you have money! They did the same thing to Kai Cenat!

  2. If you a rich man in USA, lot of men and woman will approach you and scam you too. If you a beautiful woman, lot of men will approach you and use you too. Being white has its advantages in Africa, even if you average.

  3. I don’t know if you have lots of other Australian followers who can back me up. But I’ve lived my life in Australia and never heard of an overly specific discrimination towards the hispanic, asains have always had the worst if anyone.
    Love your content, cheers!

  4. What blacks in America supposedly "feel" is not the fault of White people especially since America is a White county.
There is no Western Civilization without Westernkind.

  5. Racism is an antiwhite slur that only applies to White people because it's an antiwhite slur.
Its like the N word for White people.
You travel the world. You should know there is no translation for that word in languages which aren't Western.

  6. it's payback for what your ancestors did to "black" people, and what your people continue to do to "black" people, do you think they don't know!!? —- and no, we don't all have the same blood, we are not all the same, we are not like you …. and now you know what "black" people feel like in America, just a different degree ….

  7. Sadly this is why i no longer travel to Africa and many other countries. Until the normal people accept international travel and tourism instead of short term scams and ripoffs, a huge global industry will continue to pass them by.

  8. Yeah I’d love to visit Africa but I couldn’t deal with the constant harassment because of my anxiety. Unfortunately I’ll likely never be able to enjoy myself there.

  9. Bro just choked me up man…
Wow, you are one genuine dude, I hope your not one of those fakers that gets called out by other you tubers but my gut says your not.
I will subscribe, keep it up with a good heart bub

  10. I think you are making a mistake here. You can stick out and have the same skin color. Have you had the same skin color as them, they would still hear you speak a different language and wear different clothes talking into an expensive camera that no local would have. You are different and different is what sticks out. If you went to Ireland with that red hair and claimed Irish nobody would bat an eye (unless they heard your accent), but that's because you are both western looking. You would probably dress like them. And even then, walking around with a camera, you could probably be picked out in a crowd as someone not from there because nobody just walks around with a camera if they are local. Could you be a local photographer? Sure, but on a likelihood scale, I would bet you're not.

  11. Man…thanks for making this. Part of me wishes i didnt watch, but i know its for my own good. Ive been talking to someone from Kampalla and we discussed me coming to visit sometime and tbh Im scared as hell. Not saying i wont but im nervous as hell

  12. A lot of Africa is poor. And the consume a lot of Western media 🇺🇸 and Hollywood and assume alot white people are rich 💰they don’t hate or think your inferior they just desperate

  13. Think of how crazy it would be if it was like that in America. To that extent. Traveling into a state you have to pay a bribe to get across state line, or if a cop pulls you over no warning or ticket you gotta pay now. Fly into JFK and they hold your stuff hostage til you pay for it back. There are definitely scams all over USA but that’s unreal!

  14. The Zulu band at a South African tourist centre didn't ask for money to rip your off because you white. They expect a payment as gratitude for their art from all people who watch them. In the cities , towns etc they are here in South Africa performing and place a money plate or dish in front for people to make a token of appreciation through putting money on the plate. Your statement is stupid.

  15. All so true, and how the world seemed to think is still how it thinks, but more or less in a frame of time changing. Who are we, and why shall humans think of one other based off a scam?

  16. I really understand what drew have been through in Africa like racism he said, as being a Belgian and having asian routes brought me alot of trouble in Europe…… What's wrong tho, we all the same

  17. This has nothing to do with skin colour and trust me black Americans too go through this because of their accent and nationality. Once people there notice you're "different" they make sure to try their luck milking you.
I'm a mixed race Zimbabwean, grew up in New Zealand and whenever i go back i always make sure to not buy from small businesses especially street vendors because they hike prices thinking I'm so rich and this happens to any person who looks "rich"

  18. Honestly it's less about the fact that you were white and more about the fact that being white marks you as a tourist in most of Africa. Tourist are easy targets here. Tourist don't usually know the rules and will bend easier since they don't have anything to rely on. So scammers flock to them. If they realize you're a black tourist, you'll most definitely get targeted too.
