   My first cousin and I are both mixed with black and black and are opposites. I am brown skin with “good hair” she’s super bright skinned with 4c hair.
   Drives people crazy that we don’t have “ enough” black features to stereotype…

4. Really cool to see you speaking on this. It's not often spoken on outside of the natural hair community. Colorism has become a buzz word, but featurism and texturism get overlooked.

5. Speaking the absolute truth! We have enough to go through without destroying each other about the natural hair that grows out of our head. Sisters get a grip. Don't allow this society and it's twisted thinking divide us from one another.

6. My mom told me my 4C hair made me look like a slave and tried to forbid me from going natural. Meanwhile she told my cousin with 4A hair that her hair was "good hair" so it was fine for her to wear her curls. I was told i was being rebellious and disrespectful for going natural when I was a teenager and she tried to get others to stop me.
