What is African culture and why should we care?
What constitutes African culture and why should we care @The Ubba Kodero Show We argue that there isn’t such a thing as a “pure African culture” generally speaking. Because Africa is part of modernity, its culture has evolved to accommodate the linkages that arise from slavery, imperialism, and colonialism.

Ramped up Stupidity
My question is why does Africa get a free pass, African tribes enslaved other African tribes' people and sold them to European companies who turned around and sold them to the new world. "Between 1525 and 1866, in the entire history of the slave trade to the New World, according to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database, 12.5 million Africans were shipped to the New World. 10.7 million survived the dreaded Middle Passage And how many of these 10.7 million Africans were shipped directly to North America? Only about 388,000. That’s right: a tiny percentage." Henry Louis Gates Jr. The Catholic church is also getting a free pass. In the 15th century, the Catholic Church became the first global institution to declare that Black lives did not matter. The church not only authorized the perpetual enslavement of Africans and the seizure of "non-Christian" lands, but morally sanctioned the development of the trans-Atlantic slave trade. The Catholic Church introduced African slavery in the 16th century America long before 1619. The church was the largest corporate slaveholder in Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Kentucky and Missouri.

I love the videos, they're incredibly informative
So…should I stop tagging certain cultural manifestations as "purely African"?
