That each skin tag represents one lie that they’ve told in their youth and that they must never remove it from their bodies or God will remove a year from their life in place of them trying to cheat their way out of carrying their due burdens… It sounds messed up I know but they truly do know that I’m joking even the same relatives themselves laugh with it we’re all just morbid like that. They even join in on the joke lol but it’s never to scare anyone. If the kids ever got scared I wouldn’t be saying that shit but they immediately giggle when I tell them.
It funnily enough gives us a little icebreaker when we explain to them the real biology behind it like its not a pimple, you can’t just pull it, and that they’re perfectly normal.
Maybe it’s just a cultural thing that we joke like that (we’re Mexican)
Nah remove it yourself and put some rubbing alcohol on it and a bandaid. I get tons of skin tags from running and I’ve removed all of them myself. A little rubbing alcohol and a bandaid and it’s good as new.
Honestly before i know the dangers i cut the one i had off with nail clippers and then used my straightener to heat the nail file part and stopped the bleeding… i was a menage as a teenager and lucky to be alive with the stupid stuff i did. Lucky the tag i had was flat and skin coloured so when i eventually spoke to a dermatologist about the scar, she said it could have been far worse. Im just glad i left the mole on my temple alone. 😂
nahh. take a can of Dust off and turn it upside down. put a little in the bottom of a shot glass and then take a q-tip and dip and apply to skin tag. problem solved at home.
alright mr. Obvious. Ofc any type of open wound is susceptible to infection. For example, scratches and bruises that you get from playing football are also similar situations. You can just take it off, make the open wound area aseptic condition by applying betadine, rinse it with fresh & clean water, wait for the wound to heal and yes you are pretty much good to go.
I have successfully removed them this way. I freeze it with ice before plucking it off. Alcohol, ice, alcohol, pluck, alcohol, apply alum to further retard bleeding AND infection. Keep it clean. When you freeze it first- then it does not bleed nearly as much- if at all. However, you can also freeze them off at home with a kit.
I had one on my eye like in the corner and a doctor froze it and carefully removed it and don't worry it doesn't hurt and it's just like cold on your eye like a small piece of ice and it turns numb
Or just pull it off and wash the opening, its the 21st century not fucking 1300 or some shit where your gonna get an infection and die. Also you know how expensive the hospitals are in America, probably coast you a grand or some dumb shit.
I've pulled off 2 very small tiny skin tags. One on my eye lid and the other on my neck. I have few more on my neck now in a different place.
