Well you say nothing goes wrong, but in reality Harry almost fails every single task. Barty was there for every step except the maze and he DID get the other one. If it wasn’t for Cedric being chivalrous there could’ve been even another for it to go wrong
Why do they keep saying the prophecy has to happen? They say multiple times in the book. It only happens if you choose to make it happen
I could see Moody either playing along with the death eater organization to get info or there would be one very very dead junior.

So, I’ve wanted to say this before, however I was always watching an “episode” way after it came out and it seemed irrelevant.
BLUF: I may be very wrong, and I appreciate any criticism sent my way. Especially since this whole thing is rather long-winded.
There have been a few times where you’ve brought up prophecies (specifically from Prisoner) like that means your hypothetical has to end some way. The problem with that (occasionally) is that the prophecy you use is made after the event in question.
If we deconstruct things, and just look at it critically, it would seem to me that the actions leading up to a prophecy occurring influence what that prophecy will be. Take THE Prophecy for example, if ole Bryan (APWBD don’t know why that scene with his full name lives in my head, but it does) had put a stop to Tom before the prophecy was made, you can’t just say “Well there was supposed to be a prophecy in 20-ish years, so he’s actually fine”
All I’m saying about this is that you have restricted your hypotheticals by acting like there’s a prophecy saying there will be a prophecy, e.g. Harry can’t meet Serius in the street and learn about Peter, therefore leading to him being captured, Serius being free, and Toms return delayed. Instead, you’d say “That can’t happen, because of the prophecy (that won’t exist for ≈6 month) says the dark lords servant will reunite with him and he will be returned…… blah blah blah.
I’ve honestly considered making my own videos along the same vein, but until recently I was on a DDG and would be in the middle of the ocean way too much for it. Also, y’all are very good at it. There’s a good chance that if you ever actually see this, you’ll have a very good explanation for why that choice was made (or tell me that I am misremembering-which is very possible as I am in a desperate need of both a re-watch and re-read of the series) and if you do, well preemptively I thank you for your time. Please please please do a Hermione in Ravenclaw series. Considering the sorting hat very nearly put her in Ravenclaw, it's super possible that she would have been sorted into it. I'm curious to see how her friendship with Ron and Harry will be affected if she is not seeing them that often and also if they will be more exasperated or more understanding and willing to take her advice if they know that she is a Ravenclaw.
I'm honestly curious what Sirius will do in this scenario. Like, imagine him trying to convince Harry to stay, only to realise that he can't live normally, and that keeping him alive would be only a selfish attempt of trying to convince himself that everything's okay, and then he just say that "You were my only reason to live, I'm going with you", and then they both cross the veil… I don't know if Remus would share their fate, because he seems to be at least a bit more mentally stable, but there were at least a few mentions that Snape doesn't have any other reasons to live than protecting Harry too, so even if he doesn't cross the veil with them, he'd probably also doesn't stay around for long, "Mission complete, and I failed you". The consequences of Harry's death at this point are actually quite messed up, if we think abt it for a while.

Peter and Voldemort — why? and how?? Peter claims he joined the DEs because Voldy was going to win and he wanted the protection of being on the winning side. Cowardly but it makes sense, fine. But at the end of Prisoner Voldemort-Prime hasn't been seen since the end of Stone and for all anyone knows he's finally been defeated, so at most he's a husk-of-a-husk. Why would Peter volunteer to help Voldemort get back to heath and power? And how did Peter know how to nurse him back to as good as he was (which wasn't much but it was better than he was by the time Peter found him).
As a tangent, the Triwizard Tournament would have had a different outcome in other ways, like how Cedric seemingly only figured out the egg because of Moody/Crouch (or at least would have taken longer to do so), and Crouch wouldn't have been interfering with the maze event.
Could the dementors kiss take the part of Voldemorts soul in his own body despite The Horcruxes residing in Harry still being alive? Interesting thought as it wouldn’t be killing him so the protection of a horcruxes might not apply although I don’t know if it’s been stated that it would protect him in this way.
