  1. Had to come here just to prove to myself that Chaffee's idiotic comments about carbs being responsible for hitting the wall while running (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/MYz8V6cHSus) are totally wrongo bongo. I know that people who love eating animals are naturally going to be open to a doctor providing tons of "sciency sounding" statements supporting their taste as "healthier" than anything else.

  2. SEE, even the elite marathon runners eat very less fat as their energy source, Brigid Kosgei said she eats avocado sometimes, not everyday. And we people who never workout out, let alone run a marathon we think avocados are good for our health, olive oil are good for our heart, MY ASS, fats are fats, yes avocado and olive oil has some very good antioxidants, but just for the sake of that eating them regularly is bad, our body recognize all fats as fats… for antioxidants its better to eat leafy green vegetables and low sugar fruits

  3. I find it noteworthy how plain and simple the food discussed is: fruits, rice and beans, fermented vegetables and some milk. Poor people across the planet can eat that—and they probably don’t even eat that much.

Essentially, these athletes are in a constant state of using every last gram of whatever goes into their mouths. Their bodies are super efficient.

Unlike our standard American bodies which look awful. I used to sprint but now I’m a sedentary lawyer.

Fasting has helped but these athletes are in a health league of their own.

  4. Bulk of their calories comes from plants, ugali chappathi rice and beans bread tea banana. They are not dying of protein deficiency and are rather kicking everyone’s butt of people that take a lot of supplements and “protein”.
