When u say just DAMaSCUS is enough the oldest capital in the world, each side tells lot of history, people are kind and well educated, many languages and old civilizations ..but unfortunately they evel tries always to destroy the most beautiful things ..but Syria still Syria despite everything and it will be better soon .

Wow, this is so much better than what I thought Syria is like. There has been lots of conflict there, and I thought it is a dangerous war zone, take your life in your hands. I have a friend who lives there and she has many tales of war and trouble. But the people are wonderful, the food and the handicrafts are excellent and not expensive. I would like to go there when I can. It does not seem violent and dangerous.
As an Israeli, Syria's culture and people still look interesting and humble, although Israel and Syria do not have good relations, it still looks like an interesting country!

As a Syrian, I cried though the entire video. Seeing the streets, the life, the people of my country (and them smiling through all they are going through which I know as a Syrian made it even more emotional for me).. I haven’t seen my country since 10 years, the last time being when I was 5 years old. Great vid, Drew.
