My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.

I'm boycotting — to the extent possible — everything made in the U.S. I'm disgusted with this nation & wish I had NEVER returned after teaching English overseas. I'm frankly beyond rage, but I channel it by taking deliberate action. I buy my food either via Costco (they support DEI because they aren't RACISTS) & from Mexican markets who get their produce from Mexico, at dramatic savings. I won't buy on Amazon anymore, I won't join any META platform, I dumped my expensive ISP & went with a far cheaper option. I'll need clothes so I'm regularly going to garage sales & thrifts NOT run by multimillionaires (like Goodwill). Instead of buying a new car I had my old car repaired. The United States is dead to me & I don't care what evil sh*t it does anymore; nothing surprises me.
