  1. We Are Africans thats it, we are not black. That is a term for black americans. Stop trying to put us all in the same box. Im a proud dark west african but not black. Caribbean are Caribbeans, Africans are African and black americans are black

  2. You’re making a fool out of you with that question🤣. The Bible mentioned Ethiopia and no Ethiopian or Ethiopian origin has identity issue except those who got their mind screwed up by others

  3. Being 'Ethiopian' isn't an identity as some may see it. It is another way of referring to Amhara or a Habasha (Amhara, Tigrinya/Tigrayan, Gurage) identity, basically making it as if you're an Amharic speaking, Orthodox adhering, Menelik II supporter.

  4. Is black a term made up by the western society to refer to the dark skinned people whose families survived past 150 years? I know the name is not from Africa, so does it have anything to do with people from Africa? Just accepting whatever they call us.

  5. Countless scientific studies, which happened to confirm archaeological and linguistic evidences, have simply demonstrated that most Ethiopians, chiefly those who speak Semitic and Cushitic languages, have a variable, but very substantial portion of genetic ancestry of Eurasian stock combined with another considerable

  6. If Ethiopian were real black nobody would’ve been asked such questions specially west African attached to Ethiopian skin colour we have nothing to do with black we are Ethiopian Caucasian many research shows our dna is way different than the rest of Africa

  7. Ethiopians for a long time never felt the need to identify themselves as anything other than just Ethiopian. That is because they have relatively lived in isolation keeping invaders away. Hence their sentiment often mistaken for not wanting to be identify themselves as African when IN FACT Ethiopians are one of the first nations that spearheaded PanAfricanism..

  8. Struggled? No way we Ethiopians are proud. We where never conlized, we are unique starting from our calander. Even humanity began in Ethiopia, white skin dark skin it satrted in Ethiopia.
    We're proud Ethiopians

  9. I assume he asked that question because black ppl struggle with their identity because our roots and culture was taken from us. Like biracial ppl often feel, don't quite fit 100% anywhere. We aren't accepted in America, Africa or any other country. I have found my identity and peace in Jesus Christ no matter where I am.
