  1. 25 Year Kihei Resident. Sick of Maui's Governmental Infrastructure being in the Toilet. So happy to be off that Toxic overpopulated Rock. Groceries are now 4 times the cost of Mainland price.

  2. You posted this 3 months ago, has it gotten any better? I wish I knew about this before we booked our trip. What highway is this? There’s no way of circumventing it?

  3. Oh, I don’t miss that traffic! My husband is part Hawaiian, Maui born and raised and we moved off island 3 years ago. Now we live in the country in Oregon. The insane traffic is just a bad memory.

  4. Curious…dumb Q or not….are they blocking the Hwy because using large equipment to remove ash from Lahaina? Don’t want wind to spread ash caused by its removal, to the motorists? What ever. Our hearts hurt for the People in Maui! Purposefully making it as hard as possible! You got it there! No Geniuses is why the Ppl will win the fight. U.S. Money goes to foreigners. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 for Truth! Love ❤️ to you all!

  5. Waouh! Super! Il faudrait beaucoup de personnes comme vous qui disent la vérité et redonnent de l'espoir. Merci pour cette conclusion qui ouvre à la lumière pour votre île et l'humanité tout entière. Épatant.

  6. Have the people chosen honest freedom loving politician replacements for the upcoming elections? Do you have recall-lousy-politician laws? Initiative-petition laws? Both are needed for a free Hawaii.

  7. The plan of our current government is to eliminate single family homes. If we want to change this plan, we must change our leadership from the top down. Save America. Save our freedom. Prayers to all who have suffered in Lahaina.

  8. “Life choking” traffic. A little insensitive based on what people really when though with the fires. You’re alive and this is just traffic. Not the best time to complain. Read the room man.

  9. The waste and ash have to go somewhere. What do you suggest they do? If they were to widen the roads, people would complain about that (it's taking too long). There are too many people there. I'm from Pismo Beach, CA. The people there complain all the time. There will always be people who are not happy. If you want to complain, offer a solution. Then I guarantee someone will complain about that.

Don't be part of the problem, be part of the solution.

  10. Really poor project management. Or interference by politicians with too much influence overreacting to minor issues or interest groups. Stupid. Unnecessary. Just wait until you add all the reconstruction worker traffic. That hasn't even begun yet.

  11. You gotta watch hustle. He's got some clues there as being a psy op. He likes to lead people into scratching their heads then never really getting to the bottom of the issue. He never gets into anything with detail. Beware of these fakes.

  12. I recommend all white people leave Hawaii immediately the Hawaiian people do not want white people living on their islands,, the United States government has done enough damage to this island nation,, so those of you that think you’re Hawaiian because you’re occupying their land do yourself a favor and leave immediately

  13. Welcome to New York City. And soon we will be charged a tax to enjoy the congestion caused by the government meddling with our streets and avenues. The government caused the congestion and now they want to us to pay for it to give that money to the MTA the agency that mismanaged our subways that loses $1B/yr. All the while allowing fare beaters to jump the turnstiles and board buses without paying. That loss of fares amounts to ab estimated $900M/year!

  14. Opening that other road probably wouldn't do too much. I was delivering surfboards before the fire in Lahaina and I can't imagine living on the West side again sitting in this traffic. That one road in and out of the West side just can't handle the amount of tourists they want driving in and out competing with the residents. The tourists need to just fly directly into Lahaina and stop allowing everyone not a resident to clog up the roads.
