One thing I love about you guys, is the kindness you extend to each other even when you disagree…I love how your husbands perspective of what made him fall inlove with you, never shifts even when confronted with one of the biggest conflict #Family3rdParty!!! Wasn't that lucky and all failed.
Oh God I’ve been praying for this type of gentleness. And to see that it exists and is attainable. I will continue stand in anticipation for it. One of my greatest fears in getting into a relationship again is having to depart with the peace within self and having to expect gentleness and the continuous desire to be seen and valued on a purist level.
You both display this so beautifully. & it ignites in me the desire for marriage and all it comes with.

Shuu, this felt tough to watch for the first time. However, I’m learning that as women, we must learn to love our husbands in way that when the Lord would come and weigh a situation and what went wrong. The husband must not be found wanting and in trouble with the Lord. Love him to the point where he would be protected from the Lords judgement 😭😭.
I pray God continues to bless your union and may you guys really continue to have these uncomfortable conversations.
My Pastor mentioned this other day that the things you don't conquer before marriage will surely bleed on your marriage and I now understand why, because I'm also like Phetola, I can be "controlling" at times and want to do things in a certain way, and I also battle with trust issues, which I now see how these things are currently affecting the relationships that I have with friends and family.

Sis Phetola and I are so similar in many ways. I’m a 24 year old in a relationship with a man similar to Lerato and I did not understand him and it’s caused unnecessary rifts. I’m grateful for this conversation. I feel like I have a better understanding of me and what I need to work on and I understand my man slightly better now.

Greetings family, to the Makhs , you guys have no idea how these conversations are such revelations to self. I love how both of you are able to listen and be attentive to each other without jumping to impose own opinion. Also Sis'Phetola, how you described yourself to be that is me, I am an over-thinker and I struggle to date with anxiety, words escape my mind especially in public speaking moments. Sisi I tell you, I messed up on an interview and I actually witnessed myself failing to speak, saliva dried up, could not sell myself to these people. I am sorry for being long, I trust that God will help me to overcome because I now am aware of this weakness of mine. May God continue to keep you guys, may He preserve your family as you carry on doing great exploits for His kingdom. I love your channel.

I've been single for the 24 years of my life because l have never felt ready for marriage.
Your vulnerability had taught me that:
1) Marriage is Beautiful and Holy
2) Marriage takes maturity
3) Marriage is amazing when you become the One
Got married 30 years ago, had lots of issues with communication in our marriage. But now I have learned to rely on grace. Men and women are not the same. Period. I wish i could have communicated with so much grace as Phetola. But my dear, I have learned to accept that men are different. It's amazing how your struggles are similar to our ones, but now i am at peace🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
The level of expressing one self here is at another level. Again the level of kindness and willingness to listen. Wow,👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
