  1. So we just had someone show us that Notion has been updated to include a new browse feature inside tasks that basically solves what we were talking about. Honestly, not sure how long it's been around so our bad. We'll make a correction next episode!

Still don't think it's perfect, but definitely better than how we portrayed it.

  2. The microfiber cringe is a tactile version of nails on a chalkboard! Soooo bad.. I've never even considered that others don't feel that! 😂 I can only use one if I'm wearing gloves. I think hooks is the right objective description. I feel the cloth and myself are the two sides of some velcro

  3. Notion is unfortunately better on iOS than Android… but using it on PC feels SOOOO much better. Its actually one of my favorite apps I've ever tried, but since switching to the S24 Ultra I've found its best used on the go as a read-only notes app, or quick edits maybe – which still kicks ass because of the fluid experience with its desktop counterparts. I use Notion Calendar too, so far so good, but I've only just begun filling my calendar adequately for my routines.

  4. I bought a new MacBook Pro and I feel like it's a bit of a downgrade to my older M1 MacBook Pro. I will never use HDMI, SD or MagSafe. I feel like USBC is far superior in all ways. The MagSafe pops out too easy and I find it unplugged half the time. HDMI can just be handled by an adapter and USBC ssd sticks are faster than SD Cards and don't stick out much. Also, I think Touchbar should come back. Leave the physical function keys but add the Touchbar above it (and put all the volume , play pause etc into there. they could also get rid of the FN key that way). It takes up only an inch so maybe the 14" would need to grow but the 16" has the room. I miss my Touchbar… The screen, speed and speakers are very nice but for me I would have preferred more USBC and Touchbar.

  5. 5 TV screens for a Toyota pickup are just crazy. Expensive! Imagine that your truck gets stolen.

Just one Apple Vision Pro will give the same or a better immersive experience.

  6. I feel the way the guy feels about google messages…i like samsung messages better minus the facts you couldnt attach more than 10 ppl in an message, it was the only reason i got google messages a while back.

  7. 20:27 I think you're right. Just like planned obsolescence.

51:35 The embarrassment. Marques had to be more confident with the delivery.

1:09:00 Mechanical keyboards are underhyped. Once you start using them, you can never go back, especially low-profile ones. It's like 60 FPS.

1:29:50 Nope, the Xbox controller is horrible. Extremely tall, unsymmetrical joysticks, clunky D-pad, tiny pause and map buttons, shiny convex face buttons that are too close together etc.

The only thing I like about the Xbox controller is that the bumpers and triggers are differently shaped, and textured, so you can clearly feel the difference and rest your fingers on each one. Not to mention having replaceable batteries is so useful. The designs for the Xbox controller are also gorgeous. We need more Starfield editions and DayStrike camo DualSense editions.

  8. I disagree with the ChatGPT being overhyped. Since I’m naturally a curious person, I use it every day whenever I want a quick answer to something. I also would search online to see how often ChatGPT would get the answers correct and so far it’s the majority of the time. I use excel at work and when I need a complex formula I’ll just ask ChatGPT as opposed to having to post a forum post on some excel forum or Reddit and waiting for an answer. So far I have like 3000 different conversations on the app 😂
