  1. I really don’t understand people, this guy is trying to protect the people from buying bad products and the same people criticizes him, what difference him from most people is that the guy is completely honest, don’t you want bad reviews design good products.

  2. Lol, "you have too much influence to give an honest, thoroughly tested, and thoroughly vetted opinion, too many people are going to hear the truth!", just another example that people want a free market until the free market bites a business instead of a normal person

  3. I’m puzzled that this is even a thing. If a company produces a poor product, the consumer shouldn’t have to bear the burden of making a poor purchase. Marquez mentioned in his review that there is a trend for companies to deliver half-baked products, so they’re failing the consumer and hoping that consumers will tolerate their crap product. The Marquez Brownleys of the world need to decide who they serve. Are they shills for the company or servants of the consumer? If you side with a consumer, you have to be all in…bad reviews are part of MB’s brand integrity.

  4. Hi guys! Thank you for the episode with MKBHD!
Regarding AI Pin I thought it would suck as soon as I saw the presentation. Too many flaws, including privacy ones, and all of the things it does I can much more easily do on my iPhone (could add the smart watch too) together with ChatGPT app. And with my iPhone I can do so MANY more things the AI pin doesn't do and will never be able to do. I've mentioned the iPhone as it is the one I have but it could be any smartphone. And I also much prefer to also have a screen to privately do things I don't want to do with voice like banking and so many more things. And the list of things that the AI pin sucks for are so many so many that I think that MKBHD title of his review was simply truthful!
    Thank you guys! ❤

  5. I agree with marques there’s so many other voices at the moment. For marques fans sure maybe they dick riding but for most normal people they will watch the video and listen to his points and decide for themselves

  6. "If Marques is as powerful as they are making him out to be, it will be interesting to see if a company that is on its way to being delisted produces a product and Marques reviews it positively. On the basis of his review, if it doesn't become delisted or if the downward trend on the product stops, that's when you can say Marques' reviews are as powerful and influential as they say they are.

For me, it's all about the excitement in a review, as well as if you love what you do as a job. It's just as much about the product as it is about the process the reviewer goes through, just like a junkie injecting drugs. The quality of the products matters; however, the process by which you get the hit can be the most powerful. That, for me, is the true indicator of how good or bad Marques is. For me, it's based on the delivery of the message, and that is key, just in the same way as Mr. whose The Boss has his own style.

It's a style of delivery that makes people buy into the reviews of these individuals, in my opinion. They seem to be keen on looking at the things that most ordinary people would consider important when they're spending their money. You can fool them once, and then you have lost their trust. Marques, in our eyes, always seems to be consistently right, and that's the key to his success, in my opinion.

Why is the power of black so easy to attack? But I love it when it speaks so clearly and eloquently. How Marques can use it so easily to fight back."

  7. The moment these "ai pins" were announced, I had 2 thoughts. 1: Big Mouth called it, and 2: they'd be crap, especially compared to what your cheap phone can do already anyway. As these products rolled out and people found out they weren't all it was advertised to be, I knew I was right. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they weren't worth the price, and MKBHD, and every one who reviewed them, and I mean properly reviewed them instead of looking through rose tinted glasses huffing immense amounts of copium, properly assessed and conveyed that the products weren't worth it.

They are reviewers. They review things. If the product is good, they'll say it's good. If it's bad, they'll say it's bad. If there's nuances on who it'll be worth for, you better believe they'll say that too. If you expect a positive review 100% of the time, you either make an amazing product out the gate, which is an impossible task, or find some influencer shmuck to through a couple of bills at who has no shame in scamming their audience. Either way, the end result will be the same; proper reviews will come out and talk about what the product actually is. No matter what.

  8. his job is to look out for the consumer/followers. It’s nonsensical to cry tears about a companies bottom line and whether or not they will be bankrupt when the average person purchasing the product they are putting out may not be getting what the company has said the product will do.
the average person being out nearly 1K is not concerning? We know the company is filled with “brilliant “ people using all of the psychological research on how to sell an unfinished product to the consumer. they reap the benefits of data and money by doing so, but the consumer is out not only the 100s spent on this, but likely needing to then replace the ineffective item.
If people are so upset about a truth telling review, someone please step up and show why his review was flawed and then make a glowing review so we can see the error of MKs ways…i’m waiting….
you really gotta ask the question why are they putting out unfinished product? it’s like the pharmaceutical companies. there was a time medications were tested rigorously before they came to market. FDA took sometimes 3 to 5 years or more before giving approval. today the public is the test subject and often new drugs are recalled. my point is we the consumer don’t want to be the test subject for an unfinished product while funding it.
kudos to MK and others who are keeping it 💯

  9. It all comes down to power The power of truth, and that's what he has, but it's a double edged sword when you start hitting the dollars of those in power. When you wheeled too much influence there is buy You off or silence you in some way.

And there's the rub of being an influencer in today's America work truth and influence are becoming a confluence of conflict.

This is the third quote interview I've seen And they all talk about responsibility and what responsibility he has to us and to the power brokers. I hope he sticks to his high standards morals and integrity because in the end that's all we have that matters.

  10. I’m confused, how can you have this review commenting on the criticism before you received the criticism?

Unless they predicted the review would have a negative impact to the company?

Then I agree with what people are saying that’s foul.

  11. Everything in his retro tech series is better than this product today, so yeah, I’d say that was the worst thing he has ever reviewed. Maybe a better title would be “don’t waste $700 on this trash.”
