  1. If Nigeria is so bad as some people say in the comments section , then why the Chinese and Lebanese and others living good in Nigeria? The uk also has crimes like stabbing, missing people , people broking into house, drugs, micro aggression, high council tax, electricity, gas, water bills, homelessness, accommodation problems and so on. Black people are being tolerated in abroad. The cold weather has effect on your health, loneliness, depression, a lot mental illness on the rise, gmo foods, everyone carry they own cross in abroad.

  2. It is worth considering that individuals accustomed to a reasonably comfortable lifestyle in Nigeria today may encounter challenges and potential regret if they were to relocate to the United Kingdom.

The prevailing geopolitical circumstances, particularly in Europe and notably in Germany as they are experiencing adverse effects due to the Ukrainian sanctions. This has led to a rapid deindustrialization process, which raises concerns about future economic stability. It is plausible to anticipate a decline in the European standard of living in the coming years.

Furthermore, the decision to welcome huge number of immigrants into these countries are usually strategic. Historically, nations have accepted immigrants during times of economic uncertainty, often as a means to offset potential declines in their standard of living.

Nigerians considering a move to the UK in 2023 should exercise caution and carefully evaluate what they may be giving up in exchange for the prospects and challenges that lie ahead.

  3. Lol… So much sugarcoating.

I really hope people call a spade a spade. We need more people who aren't brainwashed about the white man's land. The whites are not your Saviour. Stay back and develop Africa. So many Chinese are thriving even in Nigeria. Fact is, we always think the best place to be is with the whites. If many of you use the money you spent traveling to invest back home, you would provide more jobs for the youths. The western education is scam. They need your tuition to improve their economy. Why not invest in other African countries? I'm a Nigerian who visited Ghana and you'd hardly find any "Made in Nigeria" products in Ghana. It's just sad that we Nigerians are living a delusional life.

  4. I'm a Nigerian too but may I ask my fellow Nigerians one question?
No offence, but why the heck do you guys always travel to the UK, Canada and the US? Why cant you guys travel to other countries as well?
Why must it be the UK or the US or Canada?
    Here is my own story.
I moved from Nigeria to Italy and from Italy to The UK. I have also visited The US and Canada.
However I never liked any of these places but that doesnt mean I must return back to Naija especially with the lack of development and security at the moment. I explored other locations around the world.
I also moved to Spain where I learnt a little spanish and from there I toured Latin America, central America and The Caribbean.
It was during these tours that I started seeing countries that I really loved. The countries that I loved the most were Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Brazil and then my all time favorite country where I decided to settle was Panama. I love Panama the most because the country looked very much like our Naija back home but on a more cleaner, greener and more developed scale. The only difference is that they speak Spanish. The country also has universal health care. Another thing that made me fall in love with the country is the number of Afro Panamanians I made friends with. So i decided to get a house here because of the lush vegetation and climate. The advantage of having a home here in panama is that you have lots of space behind your house where you can plant some of our local crops from back home. Cocoyams, Pawpaws, Mangoes. They also have plantains here and cassava.
I think our Naija folks should explore other options instead of moving to the UK,US and Canada like other places don't exist. Just because your experience in the UK was bad doesnt mean all of abroad is bad. You need to carefully look for a place where you will meet people that look very much like you. Countries that are more homely.
For now, I travel between Nigeria, Italy, the UK and Panama, especially if I have to visit family members in all these locations.
For me personally I think the UK is a good place for holidays and just to spend for a few days but not to settle. There is no doubt that the UK is a good place but for me, I hate winters. Most European countries are dull, grey and depressing during the winter months. Canada was even worse, thats why I decided not to settle in these areas.
I think you guys should give Panama a shot if you wish.

  5. You are literally talking but not making sense . You are blabbing and talking about irrelevant topics at the same time , throwing in your hair , your illness, window etc etc

  6. Africans are lazy…Africans want shortcuts and quick money… sorry living abroad is not easy…you have to work hard for everything period. if you want easy life then stay home n be lazy!!

  7. I lived in the UK for a year and 15 years in America. I've been back in Nigeria for 20 years. Living in Western Countries has it's pros and cons. The biggest advantage of living in the UK and the USA is that there's order and a far better quality of life. The disadvantages include being a stranger in another person's land. There's less sense of community because everyone is so busy trying to pay their bills. Everything works, but you spend almost all your earnings to enjoy it. Hence, not many have cash in savings, but they have a good pension system.
From my observations it is easier to adapt abroad if you don't have children. Childcare is a big headache in the UK and the USA. It takes a few years to stabilise when you relocate to the UK or the USA.
My conclusion: Lower your expectations when leaving Nigeria. The UK or the USA is not heaven. They have their own problems, too. I encourage people to follow their dreams. Life is an adventure. Whether you stay or leave Nigeria is up to you.

  8. Maam, what is it you want to talk about, really? You are guilty of what you are blaming Nigerians, for. Straight to the point, if you want others to continue to listen to and watch you, please.

  9. Don't come do Nigeria am telling you the truth, Nigeria is hell. It a mess, people who come back regret it moreee, I know off 5 people who come back, kidnapped or killed, a blegger that came from the US came to Nigeria for blogs and got killed by gunmen, no places is easy but Nigeria is the worse
