The Overberg Municipality evacuated residents from the small coastal town of Pringle Bay on Tuesday due to safety concerns amid raging fires in parts of the Western Cape. Municipal manager Dean O’Neill told News24 the fire neared residential homes, and relocating residents was a precautionary measure.
