Are those prize fund numbers real? My god. How do they do it with their expenses?

Boyes seems to spend a lot of energy looking around and seems somewhat distracted in his match with Yapp. I don't know the outcome there. It's great he is playing though. I prefer seeing it, over hearing his commentary. Same with Jones. The Scot's commentary is, overall, fantastic. Silence, 99% if the time, overall, is preferable to constant opinionating every second. The commentators of old Snooker games treated it like golf. None of this yakyakyak going on, as if they feared nothing more than "dead air".
I wouldn't describe SVB's play as elegant. In fact his style seems like very hard work. I've yet to see him use his left hand. Rarely see him use the bridge. His One Pocket is top drawer. When will we see him play Carom, three bank pool? I wouldn't put it past him to take it on, but it doesn't look like he's showed any interest in it
Seeing how many times a jump shot was used and went wrong when a simple kick would have sufficed amazes me.
50:36 ballsy! Liking JF's game more, now that the up and down, and round and round routine he used to do has abated. Getting more like the Pearl.
Seeing so many of the world´s best pool players travelling to glamorous Rutherglen, to play god knows how many matches over five gruelling days, hot on the heels of a major tournament in Germany, and where they need to at least reach the last 16 for the 750€ prize to cover their costs, it´s a reminder that for most pro players it must be hard to make a living.
