I think Wemby’s performance in this game was the final hurdle he had to clear in his career. I’m pretty sure there can be no debate now, among people who know anything about basketball anyway, that Vic Wemby is the greatest to ever play. It’s not even close at this point. And that’s if he retired today. He’s only 20! If he can play for 3 or even 5 more years he will put the GOAT debate to rest forever.
