  1. It’s been going downhill since the Portuguese left Mozambique in 1974-75. The capital was then called Lorenco Marques. Never up to the standards of the former British colonies, it was nevertheless cleaner and more crime free than now. Tourists could get a visa from any Portuguese consulate for no charge. Sad to say, the Portuguese made minimal and only eleventh hour effort to prepare the country for independence. Education, skilled job training, development of resources, and blending natives into a functioning government all got short shrift. The deficiencies left problems that linger to this day.

  2. I lived there for a year. I walked those same streets ALONE, I walked these streets will my children. There is a lot of poverty. Parts of the city were very dirty. No one bothered me. Mozambique people are the BEST people I have ever met. I felt safe. The only thing I ever felt was probably petty if I was holding my phone out, dangling it for someone to steal from me.

  3. I am 18 and grew up in Mozambique and lived there my whole life, the Video was good but I would say there’s a lot more to my country the just the city and trash on the streets and kidnappings. For example go about 300km up north from Maputo and you’ll get to inhambane and tofo this little beach town that is quite the definition of Paradise.

  4. Love to watch a clip on Zimbabwe…. The United States has sanctioned Zimbabwe's President Emmerson Mnangagwa, his wife and senior government officials for their alleged involvement in so-called corruption and human rights abuses. The boots on the ground state otherwise. Sounds familiar, like another plot against a country alleging "Weapons Of Mass Destruction".

  5. All around the world… where-ever imperialism took root, and governing power structure maintains the police power, while institutionalize fake-freedom and fake-liberation. Controlling the money and the army is oppression under any name. People of color feel more unsafe when seeing the police because they continue to be the target. It's NOT a class situation. With all due respect, look around and please be honest and face it's a race based on color problem. It's hard for White Europeans to wrap around their minds when they are not born with a Bulls Eye on their backs. Police phobia is the same everywhere weather develop or UN-developed countries. Imperialism, a policy of extending a country's power and influence through diplomacy or military force by those originally in power. This fact continued because it's invisible to Europeans. Why is it in 2024, we are still talking about the 1st Black Somebody.

  6. You Asked if he intends to continue working, WOW, maybe you forgot where you are. What do You think he would use to support himself, and to be Able to eat?? You think he can retire & Live on Social Security or something?? That's insulting. Please, I know you don't mean any harm, None at all. You're a Good Person, but please always be mindful About Where you are & the assumptions, and questions you ask. Always Think before you ask certain questions, be more sensitive and respectful..You are a Person Born & Raised in a Country With it's own system of Apartheid, and Racism as Part of it's RACIST, White Supremacy Beginings, Which remains active every second. What I am trying to say, Is that it's very different being in a country full of Racism, Compared to a Black country, Without The presence of RACISM, Yes, There Are many other social problems, like Tribalism in some places, which is Totally different than RACISM, especially The way America's System Of Apartheid*(Racism)* is designed here. I have also traveled,, But not as a YouTuber. I've been to 18 countries, Some, Many times, at a myriad of Cities & towns & a few Villages. People have the exact same needs, no matter what Ethnic groups they come From. The ABILITY to Feed, Clothe, and put a roof over their heads, gainful employment, and of course, others that loves each other, which is fostered a Lot more in countries lead by Black People in The country.

  7. That is literally a joke Sorry but I have been living in Maputo quite some time and it is more than save I don’t know why people need to push these kind of stereotypes? This is literally embarrassing

  8. Why would you ask the question how much those girls cost… I think that’s fucking disgusting… you should be concerned that he knows the exact prices everywhere… this is so disturbing

  9. There are problems in Mozambique but this guy lies a lot! Isensationalist and if i could i would ban him from setting foot ever again in my country.I am mozambican

  10. I can see that every single person and everyone of these videos just trying to get money out of him. I’m sure out of desperation for the most part. But all they see is dollar signs. So people have lost the human light in their eyes. Easy to say from where we are, I know, but that’s all I see. Especially as a traveler. They just want your buck, they don’t have 1 ounce of the same interest in him as he doesn’t them. Life is not special. Just a billion suffering humans with other crappy humans that put them on their path.

  11. Вам нужен брутальный диктатор и 10 тыс. хопошо обученных головорезов. И в стране будет полный порядок.
