We will be happy to hear your thoughts
  1. I'm so happy to find a African vegan channel! I really want to try fufu. Also the process to make fufu reminds me a lot of how the Japanese make mochi.

  2. Very great explanation of what fufu actually is and how to eat it. I love fried plantain but im not a fan of cassava at all. My dad is though.

  3. I love pounded yams it taste way better than the box

  4. In Togo pounded yam is fufu :D

  5. I need to buy your E-book. Keep on creating recipes! There are very few West African cookbooks available. Thank you for your labor. I know it’s time and $$$. It is much appreciated 🤗.

  6. Have you tried veggie patties from jamican restaurant or indian samosa. They are so good. Ethiopians also have samosa are good.

  7. Great video! This is amazing! I hate those fake vegan meats from the store too many chemicals and processed. If the whole goal is not to eat meat I do not understand this fake vegan trend of meats. I tried a couple times and I said HELL NO! lol.. no meat means no meat lol..

  8. Once I saw the stained fingers I knew she was real 👏🏾

  9. Amazing video!! So interesting

  10. Love that youre showing the world Ghanian cuisine and teaching the difference between fufu and other swallows. ❤️❤️❤️

  11. Watching the pounding while your mom just pushed the stuff around that was being pounded made me so nervous!

  12. Thank you, sometimes home vibes are needed when it comes to the diet

  13. Not to sound too stupid, but is cassava dangerous because it contains cyanide? Please answer. Thank you.

  14. I like vegan, thank you for you introduce 😘🤤

  15. Cameroon(central Africa): we have dried cassava powder and fermented cassava paste as fufu and we don’t swallow it, we chew.

  16. All the food look so delicious 😋🤤

  17. I’m so happy and thankful you started that is YouTube channel! Seen you on Insta too, you’re a blessing.
First went vegan in 2016 and I got tired of the obroni food so fell off 😂🤦🏽‍♂️

  18. Thank you so much. My father is Ghanaian and our relationship is mehhhhhh right now 😭🙄 but growing up he always cooked Ghanaian food (he's ewe) for us and I miss it so much. Now I'm vegan and your channel has been a life saver, absolutely brilliant. I've already made your okro soup and I'm planning to make the groundnut one soon too, so many memories for me. I also want to make the palm nut soup one too omg!!! Thank you so much for doing this, much love xxx

  20. What yogurt are you using ?

  21. I leaned so much in this video, thank you for sharing. I would love to try fufu and other types of swallow.

  22. could you do a video on your mushroom stew?

  23. Wat kind of mushrooms do you use

  24. Thanks for sharing lets connect via youtube.

  25. 18:45 What a great looking dessert! I have actually never had plantains but this combo sounds amazing!

  26. 11:45 Again, something I have never heard about! How would you describe the taste/texture of these bean/ground nuts?

  27. 10:22 Wooow, this is all so so interesting! The concept seems incredibly unique for someone from Europe and I am sure it is also very delicious! I guess if remaking anything similar, I would have to break the eating etiquette as it seems it would be much easier to eat with a spoon ( I mean, it is still a soup) :D

  28. Straightaway, I am so so happy to see this video. You know why? There are very little channels (and thus videos of this type) sharing ethnic vegan food and it is such a fantastic way to explore new cuisines and cultures! Plus, maybe I will spruce up my own repertuar a but thanks to your ideas!
Truly, thank you so much for your time and effort! This video is amazing!
Lots of love and have a great rest of the week!

  29. “I’m just the messenger” 😂 Thank you for teaching us! Also I LOVE those soya chunks!! That’s my secret vegan item 😆. I find it here in Harlem at a regular big local chain grocery store for less than 3$ a huge bag and each serving is more than 20g protein… I mean I’m shocked more vegan youtubers don’t use it. Thanks for showing us what you did with it too

  30. Love your recipe thank you for sharing my culture I have no clue about sister I appreciate you

  31. Came over from The Viet Vegan's channel! Thank you for being such an amazing source of info, looking forward to seeing what you do in the future
